What the hell?. . . Never run into Bubbleponics pH issue before. Can't seem to get my pH up past 5.0. I've tried about 1/4 cup of pH up and it's not budging. Even tried adding fresh water pH'd at 8.0. Quick help if you can spare a moment? Thanks.

Not even a budge. Just changed out reservoir completely 6 days ago. Usually run her on a 6 gal. reservoir. Think maybe my plant is using too much water too quickly? Started to flower 6 days ago, pH was fine. Been adding one gallon water per day 'cause she's suckin' it up. Added 2 gallons today 'cause she sucked it all up. Usually only add nuts every other gallon to keep her acid down. Maybe should I run her on an 8 gal. reservoir?

are you sure your ph meter is calibrated correctly?

yea check it, see if its calibrated, but even uncalibrated by a little it should show some change with a good amount of pH up going in.. I find that weird. Do some tests on your pH meter see if its not totally fucked.

Damn 1 gallon a day? must be a beast. I guess a bigger reservoir couldnt hurt, but that doesnt explain the no change in pH with a 1/4 cup pH up, is your pH up weaker than your pH down? My pH up is like pH 13.8 or some crazy shit lol

I've always used pH test kit. Have to pH my pool and stuff too so I'm pretty accurate, never needed a pH wand. Well, need to move on to week two of flowering on Wednesday so I guess I'll just drain the reservoir and start her fresh from week two. Just tested again. . . seems to have moved up to about 6.0. I like it at 6.5 just 'cause I like that yellow/green color in the beaker but guess yellow will have to do for a couple nights.

Well, then the only way you've got to go is up! Good to see you around again. My year started out a bit rough too. Had to get a new dishwasher just because the old one's handle broke. Damn cheap chinese outsourced parts. Didn't even bother to try to find a handle to the thing. They make everything disposable now. I saved all the good parts of her though.
