The title sounds ridiculous, I know everyone wants bushy, healthy plants, but the fact is these plants are growing in a space restricted 4x4 tent and they've always been short much to my surprise. (They are sativa afterall, but they almost take after indica a bit more.) In fact, I vegged them for about 5-6 weeks even. The trouble in this is there's so many nodes it's out of control. I think I liquid karma'd them out! Should I trim the leaves, hope for the best, or?
A little information: 1000W HPS light with a few supplemental CFLS hanging around. The light is relatively close, 12-24" I guess. Unfortunately my hood is smaller than your average 1000W hood, so that also worries me as much as my wallet. They're a little over 2 weeks old since the 12/12 switch. Running them in subcool's supersoil in 7 gallon airpots. I supplement with kelp, liquid karma, and cal-mag here and there and in small doses.
The second picture shows what I'm worried about the most; the plant to the north so to speak - it's got so many leaves it's a jungle fever. Do you see all those leaves fighting for light? It's nuts! I thought they'd be a foot taller by now too, but maybe the stretch will increase and open her up. I worry I actually gave them a bit too much nitrogen early on, before I threw them into the final SS pots, but they seem happy minus a little strangeness in leaves here and there.
Thanks all for venturing into my rabbit hole and throw me a couple likes and/or rep if you like my plants. Hell, sing to them with good intentions and I'd be thankful! Oh and the strain is Full Moon from Nirvana (the north and west plant.) The easterly plant is a White Widow. I wish I had a ruler in there, some of those fan leaves are gigantic.
