600w Practical in 2x3x5??

thats the only size of tent i can find that will fit inside my closet.....my closets 2 feet wide..6feet long and like 8 feet tall

With good air flow it can work. Air cooled hood and a fan or two will do the trick.

I would expect it to very hot in there...you'll need and A/C unit for air intake and an air cooled hood for venting.

because i cant make holes in the closet for ventilation....so if i put a tent inside the closet...problem solved..

you can get one thats 2x4x5 thats what i got and use a cooltube. With a 400w i have heat issues but if you can add ac you'll be fine. If you keep the outside room at 70F the tent will be about 80-85F with adequate-good ventilation and if you add a canopy fan you'll be able to have the plants about 6" from the light. 600w is a little much but with a dimmable ballast you cant go wrong. Ebay, local hydro, and htg supply are all excellent places to look.

im feeling selfish right now and dont wanna give up my lumens by dimming my ballast

I run a 3x3 tent with a six hundred, a reflector and some fans. Never overheat as long as I keep fresh cooler air circulating. temp never goes over 80 ever. I got some massive air movement though which makes a huge dif...

Another good idea is put your bed on stilts and maybe put the tent under the bed. Another one is put your bed in the tent and grow in the room.

I built a enclosed closet in my closet roughly 3.5x2x5. Running a 600 watt digital ballast, 4" vortex with a 6" vent cooled yield master. I vented it up and out through the attic. I alternate the intake coming from the outside and from within the house. Depending. My temps stay in the 72-85 range with a RH between 20-50%. Space wise its a little tight but I got 3, 3 gallon pots in her.
