Indeed! We will be bringing fresh oysters and hope to score some Alaskan salmon or halibut (maybe king crab?) via commercial fishing buddies. Will need a head count of oyster fiends a few days earlier to make sure I order enough. They will harvest them the morning we leave!

My favorite boats are the New Rayann out of Sausalito (in the salmon picture), or the New El Dorado III out of Berkeley (pic below). Both are awesome boats & crew!

All the catamarans out of Berkeley are fast. Now you guys want to do some real shit lets rent the whole boat of course you wont be able to smoke on it. But you will catch alot of fish I know alot of different captains from over the years. From Berkeley to Half Moon Bay on up to Bodega Bay. I will brush up on the regs and make some calls its about 70 I think a person. dirrtyd

just realised i need a friggin PASSPORT to get into the states now.... wtf??
lol....it's a huge pain these days, isn't it??? I can get into BC with an "enhanced" driver's license, but, since I live in Thailand part of the year, just carried my passport all the time since 9/11. See if BC has some sort of reciprocal drivers license gig going on! Much cheaper if you don't need a passport for anything else.

I caught a 39 1/2" ling cod last summer, and the throw back size is 40". It was the ONLY time the game warden met me at the dock in my entire 40 years of fishing. Happily, he agreed with me it was 39 1/2. Salmon are more fun to catch, but rockfish taste better, imo. If you guys have a reasonable 3 day out of state license arrangement, we're in!
