Hey. Actually every thing is going good. I think the Dill is done though cuz it seems to be dieing now but my regular mint plant was taken out of my AeroGarden and put into its own DWC bucket and its got new growth all over and I took 9 cuttings from it.Hey toolage hope everything is going well for you..........must have pounds of culinary herbs by now
Yeah once dill hits its maturity and flowers its over but you get plenty of seeds to start over.............i got a shit load of italian basil growing under a 250w Cmh and all the new growths are leaf curling. Can't figure out the problem......ever have this issue???Hey. Actually every thing is going good. I have no idea what causes it but depending on the kind it will do it naturally.Yeah once dill hits its maturity and flowers its over but you get plenty of seeds to start over.............i got a shit load of italian basil growing under a 250w Cmh and all the new growths are leaf curling. Yeah i've gotten the usual............over fert/under fert/thrips/gnats/wind burn(lol)/under water/over water/ and wait for it...........uvb/uva burn...I have no idea what causes it but depending on the kind it will do it naturally.
Yeah, but dill is fickle about inducing regrowth........most people tend to just reseed due to the strong flavor change as it begins maturity.if the herbs are flowering and you dont want them to just cut the flowers off and the plant will continue to produce foliage
It was. about 7 days later I saw about 10 to 12 new plants it was trying to grow. I took 9 cuttings off of it and I ended up with 3 or 4 very healthy cuttings. I killed the big one off and used it for tea.looks like that main root wants to grow as a new plant
Well I tried and I had about 2 out of around 8 rooted. But then again it might be the plat its self since they say its a hybrid kind.ive never cloned basil, but a soft cutting should be fairly easy, i would think.
