Doing awesome mate but I am a camera down. I wish I had before and afters for the shooting powder. Take almost fully mature buds add shooting powder and boom brand new layer of bud growth, I have even delayed my crop by over a week because there is so much new growth.
And 100% you can see the difference visibly with shooting powder.
The critical mass are close to being cut down (hense why I cant afford a new camera) I am hoping to borrow one so you can see the results of the feeds.
For the shooting powder feeds I dropped my EC down to approximately 1 and then kept almost exactly to the schedule for everything else. They had 2 feeds at quarter strength, 2 at half strength and one at full strength. When they dry out next they are being flushed like crazy with drip clean.
Flushed a day then left to dry for 2-3 then cut down. I am also debating raising the temperature up to around 32 for the final 12 hour day. It seems to make resin production go into overdrive and really bring out the flavours.
-48.
Has anyone ever seen critical mass go purple ? I have some purpling on my leaves and edges of my buds. Not complaining like they look beautiful but I cant decide if its cold temps or an issue as I seem to be constantly suffering from purple stalks. Healthy plants but purple stalks. Now my mother which hasnt been fed in like 6-7 weeks if not more is finally all green with no purple stalks. Reckon its a problem with the soil being too hot ?
I have also moved some more plants into my tent, 3 northern lights, 5 critical mass, 2 pineapple chunk and 2 ak-48. They are in 20 litre air pots in a blend that consists of :
1 bag gold label custom mix (coco and clay pebble)
2.5 bags gold label special mix
1.5 bags bio bizz all mix
20% perlite.
We will see how they do but growth is excellent. I think lightening the mix with coco and clay did the trick for the purple stalks but we will see
I really hope I can get you some pics soon. The critical mass have to be some of the densest bud I have ever grown and in places its completely white with crystals.
The trichromes are currently about 50 milky white and 50 percent clear. They should be perfect within the 6 or so days I have left before I intend to cut. But realistically speaking I will only cut when they are ready. With all the new growth from the shooting powder its hard to tell, some of it is ready to cut and some of it is immature. I am hoping this will even out over the last few days but it is making me a little nervous for finishing times seeing all those white calaxyes come through.
Wish list !
More 20 litre air pots.
another 600 watter for inbetween the two lights.
A cut of something actually stinky to save me time and effort
A much bigger veg space
An LED or 250 halide for my veg chamber.
Pics coming again soon. I might see if I can get my GF's camera today and snap a few for you.
