12/12 cycle for how long?

ive started my plant on a 12/12 cycle with a flourecent light
how long to i keep it on this cycle ???
any help?

until it looks right. The white pistils start to redish brown. Wait until around 70-80% of them are that colour. PEACE

Dude, I am glad to see you start your flowering cycle, its exciting to see it progress. If you can afford to get any more lights, it sure will help.
Its hard to have "too much light" in fact thats probaly a thread you'll never see. lol
Typical flowering times are around 7-10 weeks, BUT it is dependant on the specific strain. Pauliojr gave you an excellent link IMO, given as I posted it. lol
Honestly though, do not go by the hairs as this can be deceiving and force you to make a mistake.
Generically speaking, you can "control" the type of high you get to some extent if you go by the trichomes, a milky white tone and you'll have more of a "up" type high, more amber and you get more of a couchlock type high.
This is of course governed more by the strain though. Its all in the genes, you'll never make a donkey into a race horse.

but videoman wouldnt that take a fair bit of experience to be able to "control" the high... but i guess you have to start somewhere hey. Peace

why do i get the feeling this guy put his plant under 12/12 right off the hop.:roll:

you tell me that i shouldn't post because i dont know jack. so the first people who posted must be pros because they are allowed to post. i dont see anyone harrassing them like you do it to me. my point is maybe the dude was going to make a mistake and i would have corrected him before the other joes even know whats up. like i said am not as dumb as you might think.

what mistake i thought going 12/12 from the off was ok according to another post you made, so in one post you say its ok and the other you say it isnt.

you can continue to keep posting as much as you like but everytime i see something you have said that is wrong i will correct you

like i said before and i will only say it one more time so pay attention.

in another thread someone asked "what is the min veg time?"

minimum minimum minimum minimum minimum.... how soon can i start flowering... i cant wait for them to veg....

you wont flower at 12 12 from start itll think its in the wrong season and blow up or something.
