they used to advertise these in hightimes. idk much about them other than you have to buy alot of butane if you want to produce oil on a consistant basis. seems like alot of work and money. ice water hash and dry ice hash seem to be more cost effective.

As I understand it you're also exposing your plant material to liquid butane longer, giving you a better chance for it to absorb more crystals, potentially giving you a better yield. (I could be wrong about that though)
IMO the main benefit is the butane recovery and obvious safety benefits.

I dont think u want it to really sit in butane i believe but could also be wrong that the longer it sits the more chlorophyll you will get so id say you just want it to quicky pass over it otherwise we would probably fill a jar with butane and bud and let it sit then strain out the bud and then purge off the butane.
