Spraying Leaves

so i was thinking about starting to spray my plants. how often should i spray them and when i spray them how much should i spray on them

Whenever you feel like it. This is better in veg and early flower than in late flower when you want them to begin drying. Spray them wet like rain then look at them in an hour. It will be completely dried up.

so can i spray multiple times a day if i wanted and if i do would it be good or bad for the plant

Keep an eye on them if you are using some strong HID lighting as the water droplets on the leaves have a chance as acting like a magnifying glass and could burn your leaves.

I spray mine down from time to time under a 400w with no ill affects. I just make sure there is good air movement and havent had a problem with it.

I figure make it rain like its outside.

well i had heard about it causing leave burns so im planning on starting tonight and just spraying them every so often at night when lights are off. does spraying them have noticeable effects on the plant growth and if youre spraying your plants does it increase chances of nute burn at all

I am have not seen any noticeable difference "to the eye" on plant growth as I have only been spraying with plain water and not foliar feeding.
But I know it does increase the RH in my room. I feel that by spraying them with water that any dust, dirt etc that may have landed on the leaves are "washed" off. I think it also strengthens the leaf stems the same way a fan does.

I wouldn't to it during dark. You want the water to evaporate so it doesn't grow mold in there. At lights on is better I hear. I'm under cfl in veg and don't have to worry about burning leaves so I spray water every chance I get

i always spray mine they under a 400hps and never had them burn also makes it smell niceee only do it in veg tho

I have also noticed that after spraying that lovely smell sure does increase.....
