On submitting his 2010 tax return and estimated 2011 tax return next Tuesday...

That only leaves the losers who wont release them.

That's a lose/lose for him isn't it?
Honestly, I think his biggest mistake was fumbling the answer not once but twice.

He should be proud of the money he has made and should also point out how much economic activity his investments created.

He could talk about jobs created "or saved" and make up whatever numbers he wants.

As far as his tax return, if it is all legal then I dont see how it can hurt him any worse than it has at this point.

It was the way he fumbled it too, blurting 'Maybe!' with that forced facial expression (smile?) he uses.

His effective tax rate and how it is arrived at is what he would have hoped to conceal. Folks are very resentful and don't view venture capital companies in a very positive light. Also, he is documented as being inordinately proud in private about his wealth. It's all about the mood of the nation this year.

It's good that this releasing of documents is an issue now. It lays the groundwork for later, when we focus on the documents Obama has kept hidden and refused to release.

The mood of the nation is clearly that we need to make a change.

Or he could post the truth, how he ran some companies so far into the ground that we the taxpayer had to bail them out for 44+ million dollars whilst he walked away with 12 million in profits. This is just one of many times Romney made $$ at the taxpayers expense.

When you make 12 million in profit at the taxpayers expense... yes, he should be proud............and this must be you >>>> :dunce:

The soylndra loan was illegally suborned so that rich democratic investors managed to get richer... But I understand if you cannot see past your partisan blinders to notice it happens on both sides of the fence.

What do you mean "partisan"? I am not a Democrat or a Liberal. I just know Romney, and he is a dirtbag .
