again, it is not mescaline. Mescaline will have long spicules and be either white or a steel gray. You may well have gotten something psychoactive but it could be anything. good luck but next time confront the folks you talk to about this stuff and say - "it ain't mescaline dude, or if it is all of this is hardly a single dose" see what they say.

Mescaline is very rare, even more rare than 2c-b. If it were 2c-B it would have been sold as such rather than be hawked as mescaine as both are highly desired. In short, anyone who might like to have mescaline would jump at the other stuff. The point here is that they lied to you in the first place...it is likely an RC.

I hate even reading all this crap. I started tripping in the early 80s. Yes, there was still real LSD on the streets then. Bout $3 a hit. $25 for a sheet of 100 (or less). Not all of it was top-notch, but top notch or not those were the prices and you could (pretty well) count on it being real. But at the time there was a market for it. The ergot required to make it was easy to obtain and its not difficult to make--- unless you want a super pure version. Same still applies, but theres no real market now, so its not really on the streets anymore. Last I knew, late 80s, you could still go to a Grateful Dead show and cop pretty easy, real thing, low prices. But as the 80s wore on, more and more fake flooded the market and it became very unreliable. Personally, I wouldnt touch some crap on the streets being hawked as "acid" or "LSD". Its pretty unlikely that its actual LSD. If not, then what the hell is it? Scary. As far as mescaline goes, if its not cactus buttons, its not mescaline. Mescaline is so difficult to synthesize nobody is going to bother with that. What have they done? Grown some cactus and made an extract? LOL No. Research it some and you will find out that there are now known to be several cactus varieties that contain mescaline. Some of them were or are sitting in your grandmother's window sill. Some of them are plenty potent enough to make it worth your while to choke it down. Then again, puking your guts out before a hard trip isnt for everyone. These are the reason that real mescaline never found a market-- and if someone was hawking something as such it was a fake. In 1987 there were sheets of "Journey" album cover going around USA. In MI some friends and I copped some: very LSD like, yet it was a little strange. I constantly had in my feild of vision a series of points of light that would quickly form a circle and then spin round. I could shake it off, but just as quickly as they had gone they would reform and do the same thing. In next months High Times they had a warning that "Journey" album cover "acid" was being made on the East Coast and it said "Warning: not true LSD". This was back when it was less likely than now that you would get a fake. I hate to think about what its like nowadays.

As I have said previously, it is a big world, and the whole world, including China, Russia and India produces LSD precursors, some far more watched than others. Way back when I was taking the stuff, there was a brotherhood who's mission was to manufacture and distribute as much and as pure a product as they could. No one that I have heard of has ever done such a thing with any other chemical. There is no brotherhood now but there are, as I have said, evangelists. Now, what is "fake" lsd? there are a handful of drugs potent enough to be psychoactive in mg or less quantities that can be dropped on paper and, for the most part, they can all be recognized as "not" lsd. Other than that, what exactly is "bad" LSD? as the chemical needs to be pretty precise in order to create the effects it does and contaminants usually don't have much effect at sub mg amounts. I contend that the fact that lsd "fake" or not no comes in tiny doses means that there may not be a large supply but there is still a demand. If the LSD on those sheets were fake, then why not put a more reasonable amount on each blotter (of course, it could be that any larger dose wouldn't fit).
finally, I don't know how hard mescaline is to synthisize and I don't know what the market is for a substance that would cost plenty if it were. I do know that it isn't hard at all to extract mescaline from certain cacti that tend to grow rather large that have concentrations of mescaline ranging from .02 percent to .3 percent product. Now I come from a tine when very few would ever consider taking more than two tablets or panes of lsd. The prospect of taking 10 would have seemed the hight of lunacy and I know people who hold that because someone had to take a strip of 10, it couldn't possibly be real. I suppose that belief may continue to those who used to take 10.

I know people who have eaten more than 10, I myself have been trying to get an oppurtunity to blow 90 bucks in one night on a ten strip. I just need to go on a vacation or something. I never get two days off in a row, and even then whos to say I wont be tripping for like 4 days. Ego death at that point has to be like inevitable. I don't feel like reconstructing my personality and then going to work the next day. If I had the money though to blow, I could go get a 10 strip within the hour

I wasn't clear. The reason we never considered taking more than one or two is because each one was between 350 and 550 mics.
