Hi, this is my first time growing. i grew a random seed from one of my bags, and I only smoke high quality stuff. Obviously I will take what I learn from this and apply into my next grow which I have special seeds for
Anyways, I am growing her with 2 sun system 150 watt hps or 300 watts total (32,000 lumens) hydropnics system, water three times a day, started with half strength nuts, now almost full strength with watering. About 5 ALMOST 6 Weeks into flowering now 12/12 and I'm feeling like she's maybe budding to slowly? And tips would be great and appreciated. Should I maybe put in another 150 watt hps for 450 watts total for two plants?1.jpg2.jpg3.jpg4.jpg

I would put in another 150w. More light never hurt. Unfortunately with your plants at that height your lights penetration isn't great. Also it's because you have atleast another 6 weeks to go ;)

are they 5-6 weeks flowering or is that 5-6 weeks since you switched to 12/12 it can take 2 weeks after the switch for them to star flowering so if you switched to 12/12 5 weeks ago they have prob only been flowering for 3 weeks give em 6/7 more weeks and they will fatten up for ya

bad advice.. has nothing to do with light if he has 300w of hps pumping.

there are limiting factors when growing. light, co2, nutrients, water and temperature. if one of those pieces is not sufficient, it doesnt matter how much more you give of the others. it will be your limiting factor.

what are your temps like? air circulation? air exchange?

Thanks for the quick reply, and yes you are right. Its been 6 weeks since I switched the light to 12/12. My set up is basically the same as "Mr. Green's" set up (Youtube) and nutz. And I water my plants 3 times a day for 15 mins with Nut treated water with a Ph level of about 6.7 Should I only use pure water for watering and water with nut every other day? Like I said this is my first grow, extremely excited. She is over 4 ft tall and over 3 ft wide. Unfortunately random seed but have others already vegetating that will be the real deal. And and recommondations on some additional nuts/supplement to boost my babies. Oh and I'm uping from 300 watts to 450 watts HPS :D

Why is your PH so high? what medium are you using?..
im using 5.8 PH and my plants are super short and fat!..(rockwool & hydroton) i kept my lights as close as i could to my plants from day one!.. check out my grow video in my link.

I would suggest taking a look at my video journals.. and invest in a thermo/hygro meter aswell so you can measure humidity and heat levels; and yes more light is what you need.. i would suggest getting a 400 WATT MH for vegging on your next grow and a 600 watt HPS for flower in a cool tube like mine; keep in short, bushy and heavy!

It's called a SATIVA. Cannabis sativa can flower for up to ten weeks. Get ready for a long ride. It is looking fine. It appears the initial stretch is wrapping up and it is just starting to packy on the calyxes. You are doing fine. It's just that the genetics from that seed requires long flowering times, that's all. Indicas flower in much less time, FYI :)

From what I know and am being told, your PH is off and mine is just right 6.0-6.8 Anyways I have them in rockwools covered with hydrotons. temp stays at 80s at the highest, and lower 70s during night. I don't have much for air circulation besides and fan inside the grow room. I do enter the room twice a day (during lights on) and leave the door open for about 15 mins. Thanks!

Im working on a sativa although LST'ed that is in week 15 of flowering. It was lame at 6 weeks flowering but just kept getting bigger. Even now it has very amber trichomes on 80% but there is fast new growth all over so i let it be.

First off to the guy who said adding more light wont help that is completely wrong the more light the bigger buds you will see go get yourself a 600 it will be well worth it. second you need to bring your ph down closer to 6. Also it isnt about how tall they are you dont want your plants to stretch with a ton of space inbetween each bud
