Subcool would you say for apollo 18 it's a light feeder (bottom 1/4 pot), medium (1/2 pot) or heavy feeder (3/4 pot). I am guessing it's not a heavy feeder. I never had nute burn issues with apollo 11 so she's definitely not a finicky light eater. Not sure I maxed out yields either though. Is a-18 a heavier or lighter yielder than a-11? From shots I've seen of the more coveted pheno looks like lighter.

On a side note, what do you think of LED lighting for indoor growers? I'm stuck in a 1.5'x4' cabinet for a while in a room without great ventilation so trying to avoid heat buildup issues.

Watch the Weed nerd on you tube.lots of good info there. Also Google your question he's done a lot of articles on his gear and has it all out there for free for Us to use. Led are good for veg but you wont see great dank if you flower with it.

Yeah I know :) I've grown a11 before but never a13, so a11 is my only frame of reference that's why I mentioned it. The two share a lot of traits. I also got some genius x deep chunk from another breeder so curious to see how those two end up coming out in comparison. Watching weed nerd at the moment... don't know how much longer hearing I can go on hearing sub talk about smoking bubble... *envious* can't wait to make some nice red bubble with this next harvest though :)

I must disagree. If you have the right LEDs you can produce incredible flowers.

The idea of LED's is nice but, the technology is not quite there yet. I have a 90w LED that I bought under the impression that it is equivalent to a 400w MH...wrong! The thing puts off no heat which is nice and all but, in NO way dose it out preform or even equivalent to a 400w. Sub said it at the school of dank best...you want big huge buds, you need bright lights. Plain and simple.

You can't blame LEDs because someone lied to you. 90w <> 400w -- that's just crazy. Comparing a 400w led to a 400w hid is a bit more reasonable. They do have LED lights bigger than 90w you know :) The only reason I didn't go LED was not wanting to put out the $$ -- it is definitely a shit ton more expensive to get near equivalent to HID lighting.

That's totally just thrown out there, man. I've seen plenty of LED grows that flower some super dank. Its all in the company you buy from and the experience of the grower.

Sry we are jacking. LED can grow danker bud than HPS. It is easier on the trichs than HPS and the resin ends up stickier and stinkier. The downside is commercial LEDs are mostly low efficiency emitters ~20%. Quality emitters are 40%-50% efficient but in order to get those you have to build it yourself and source quality constant current drivers.

My A13bx was a heavier feeder but I only popped 1 bean and it was not dank like the Qleaners. Maybe I should have done some selection lol.
