Auto AK47 First grow and flowering

Hello everyone! This is my first grow done under CFL's for veg/flower. I've been soaking up all the useful info on this site and thank all the experienced growers for sharing the knowledge.

All five of my plants are flowering and appear to be in good health. The only thing i can say i didn't do entirely right was the lighting and thats totally fine with me right now seeing that i have five healthy plants and all are budding. I will be in the market for some better equipment before too long.

I'm assuming that a healthy budding plant looks like this! And i hope so!

Thanks guys!

I'll get some more pics once they come out from their nap

Ranger J - The best advice i can give is the more light the better. I've found growing under CFL's to be forgiving when you need it most though.

deza - FANTASTIC setup man. You are going to have some great plants. Do you find growing hydro easier if set up correctly?

With my plants i went the Fish fertilizer route which like CFL's is very forgiving. Nute burn was never a concern and they grew green and healthy. Loved it loved it. However like i said before, the only regret i have is not putting more lights in the grow room. They grew none the less, but stretched a bit.

Thanks for the compliment!

Hell yeah; in Hydro they grow alot faster.. so if your the impatient type like me then hydro is the way!
You can see the difference between coco-coir/ soil medium (SUPER LEMON HAZE) vs Rockwool Hydro...(berry bomb, white widow)

but like you said it has to be *setup correctly*.. i tested with bag seed until i was 100% conditions were perfect... this is my first official grow and i have had not one problem (fingers crossed)

Thats a smart move man. Not many people would have the patience to do a test run on a bag seed and tweak what needs to be tweaked. You played it right, because the proof is in the pudding! Or the marijuana haha! :) I'll be following you, i'm intrigued and would like to go this route soon.

Thanks it means alot to me.. i put alot of time and effort into research of what works best, i compared tons of grow videos and setups.. and saw that hydro had many advantages.
it took me three months to get my setup correctly.. sadly.. 9 plants died during this process of perfecting my room (bag seed) but there sacrifices will not be in vien!! lol

results speak for themselves now :)

Just uploading some new photos of my grow. If anyone has any insight on growing Auto AK47's i could use the advice! :peace:

They need more light 40 to 50 watts per square foot is what I aim for they will grow with less but yield will suffer if you are not close to this range witch I am sure you are not! As for feeding and health you are doing a good job!

Agreed. I'm lacking in the light department. However i'm surprised at how well they are doing for the light i did give them. All flowering as of now. I'm just curious how much i'll yield from these girls. I'm assuming i have about 30 days left until i harvest.

1000bulbs.com has great deals on 105w cfls - if you're intent on keeping a cfl grow. You'll probably only get on avg 1/3 oz off each plant given the lack of branching which is a direct result of the lighting situation. Still with the limited light you have going - good work.

Latest update. I'm thinking i have about 3 more weeks of flowering to go. The plants are starting to bud out nicely and i'm very impressed.

However you can see in the pictures, i'm pretty sure the CFL got too close to the top and burnt the leaves. If you happen to think otherwise PLEASE share some useful insight :bigjoint:
