hit my Bitches with about 1320( incl 230ppm out of tap) of nutes last night. Pump em up or burn down the house ! We'll see I guess ?

I picked up a cheap magnetic... $117.00 for a 1000 watt switchable 120/240v .. and it comes with a 3 year replacement, 5 year parts warranty.. cant beat it. Even accepts both style hood plugs... Shitty thing is .. I think my old ballast had been fading for a while... because the yield on that side had been down some.. from about 26 oz to 17 last run.. I attributed it to strain.. but once I plugged the new ballast in .. it was sooo much brighter ... I had been able to stare straight at the bulb during watering for the last few months.. but I figured my eyes had just been burnt enough to deal with it .. Prob not.. just fucking wasnt putting out what it should.... Its def bright in there again ... and I dug out that lumen meter thing to test it tonight to make sure my older ballast is keeping up to par with the new one. Everything is looking bitchin tho.. Still waitin for your girls to root .. prob today or tomorrow.. they are standing at attention so im leavin em with out the dome .. so their lazy roots can get to work :)

I HAVE
2-1000 watters, switchable
1-430 WATT hps
2-400 watt switchables
2-600 watters just sitting on the bench collecting dust. I have 1-400 watt MH going now. I'm putting one of the 1000 watt HPS in the greenhouse to help things out in there with the short days, and using another 600 watt unit soon. But everything else is just collecting dust...

I think I really need a 1 k. my lights feel weak or im used to em too or I need a new bulb on the one I just picked up. I'd like to check out your lum meter one day when ya come over. Sounds like the little ones are gonna make it . Im stoked they will make it and can't wait to see em run. you'll have to let me know where you picked up that ballast from.

Stopped by a hydro store in SD today and picked up a new eye hortilux 600 HPS bulb for the used 600 I picked up last week. The kid said he had three grows on it so if he vegged with that bulb it was defintely time. My cab just didn't seem bright enough. What a huge diiferance I don't have the shaded edges I had and it's a lot brighter. Picked up two more 6" net pots too. They gave 20% off, the young gentlemen was very knowledgable about lights and ballast, the store was bigger and nicer then the one at home and their prices were a bit better. They have a new customer and I probably won't go to the local store unless in a pinch. Almost dropped the coin on a 140.00 1K copper ballast but held back and will save for a digital but with the new bulb I think I am ok now. They will test your bulb and ballast for free.

Out of the three Medies I have sprouted I had a big one a medium one and a small one. I picked the smaller one to put in a DWC bucket in hopes it will be a female. Hope I get a male for seeds to though.


The days and the power of the sun are changing ! I can tell the sun is staying in the big greenhouse longer and it feels alot brighter when driving around all day. They weather has been super sweet !

I realized the sun was changing yesterday. We took the Princess to the river and were there til almost 6. A week or two ago, we could only stay until 5. Woo Hoo! Spring is on the way!

Wow they look sweet. Are those going right now ?My Querkels are big and still going. 4 of them take up half the box. They have formation now. Yes! I'm so looking forward to them !:fire:
