SO one must take that into context.... as i noted inyour post there about this issue. My gamer tag is Maj. Lee A. Stoner. its a GREAT Gamer tag, but not a great user name on a politically active website, that has State Legislation visiting daily.

I HONESTLY believe that was the reason for the PM. Perception of John Q. Public, and Legislation is Big and undeniable. I really think the idea of the pm was to hope you put some of that thought into it.

But then the person sending the PM didnt realize that is an actual name in the area where your at, so its easily understandable how it was mistaken as a cannabis misnomer of a name. Again, the site has many Politically Active people...so perception becomes a point of contention.

It could have very well been a misunderstanding at first. I can live with that. I can see your view on perception, that is wise. I started to lose my patience with her when she persisted to question my legal status and I had several pm from her. I realize that is a medical site. I have met great people through that site, and continue to use it. I look forward to going to the market in Jackson real soon. I certainly do not agree with the perception of legal medical marijuana users looking down upon non-legal medical marijuana users. I am not sure why it would make a difference that Gladstone is a town I live in. A few people pointed that out. I changed it to stoned and it was intentionally saying I get high. I am legal, I follow the law. I am registered with the state, if they get pissed at me then I have a problem on my hands.

Thank you for the tip for us to contact our local legislator I will start to work on that tomorrow. I am interested in trying to get more involved way up here, but not just jack my time off. Any suggestions that me or others can do to help would be appreciated. Many are interested in getting involved, but are not used to the politics and bs.

ya, all you can do i say, I am here for the same reason you are, name doesnt really matter. but ya. your name, even with the d, is minor.
and its not that the med community has an afliction for those that use not medically, just over the last 3 yrs., besides those test cases that have the pleasure of being put thru the Mi Court System, with Due Prejudice, a few of those standard marihuana cases, included cocian, herion, meth ect, alot of things not related to Medical use, so it puts those that got cards at risk of attack from the perceived connection between cannabis and true illicit drugs like coke, herion, prescripition drugs, ect.... in those other cases. kind of the guilt by association. That would piss people off, so its a somewhat large point of contention.
But with the new legalization push in the state, their is a chance we will have full legalization on the 2012 ballot, but if it doesnt get there, or it doesnt pass, and we lose the MMM Act in the process of hoping the full legalization passes, we are all just fucked with a 18 inch dildo with BS doing the pushing to fill his new Prisons he wants to build!!! keep that in mind, and pass that thought along.

i dont let Anyone stop me from being me. but where the 3MA is concerned, for myself anyways, i went in understanding the nature of the game i guess, i just recognize the full scope of the game. Eyes wide open kind of thing. I m just at the point where i refuse to hide the fact i use cannabis to help me get thru a day. I dont flaunt it, but i dont hide the fact, nor do i push the issue, though i will speak passionately anywhere appropriate.

Agreed, and I would also appreciate any info/suggestions. Navigating your way through political bullshit is so messy and frustrating, any tips to help will be awesome! :)
