i mean sounds good...need to buy more stuff tho which i don't necessarily want to do...but i like the idea. won't have many more males to do this with unless i sprout some more...

on the upside...i have a girl! lol. i am pretty positive. i don't see any balls forming anywhere and i can see only two sex organs, and they look nothing like any of the others...theyre still very small, but i believe i can see pistils. re-checked all the males and confirmed. still no show on the other in the flower cab.

time to take some clones! i am planning on taking as many as i can from the female, and then letting her finish. i will grow out the clones and probably pick a mother from them. thinking about at the same time starting some new beans, one or two at a time maybe to diversify the crop.

or maybe i won't let her finish and ill mother her. i don't know. any suggestions? i know i want to cut as many of the lower growing branches as i can, not only to have the clones but to clean her up too...

ISO oil all you need is a bottle of Isophorl rubbing alchahol, make sure to get the 90+% stuff

as far as making a clone a mother, just going to take up space, i say you take clones veg em to a decent size and when they ready for the flower cab take your next batch of clones. veg them out and when they ready take next batch. this way you dont have to keep a mother plant around.

yeah been picturing/planning in my head how i will work it and that method seems to make the most sense. i will be taking clones just as soon as plant number 2 shows sex. hoping because its taking so long that it will be female. the other plant is almost definitely female. i am definitely going to let them both flower and take clones from both...

debating whether or not to start germinating a couple too...although that may just muddy things up a bit. yeah. i think i will wait until at least harvest number 1 before germinating some more...

i fucking cant wait. also, just learned how to make canna-oil. VERY excited as i can do that and enjoy it TONIGHT! mayhaps ill take some pics of the process, although my phone is being a piece of shit and not focusing properly...

haha i know right? i do it cause its too hard to count every time, so if i update it every week or so i only have to look back a few pages...

this is what im thinking for tonight. im planning on basically breaking down all the males, then using my newly acquired magic bullet to grind it all down (stems included...?) and then using said grind to make the oil...any problems there?

i think im in week 3 of flower, dont really care. i believe my buds will tell me they are done so im just going to wait till then.

got it, break them all down, put in paper bag to dry for a few days at least, and then grind and make BUTTER, not oil. lol. how come matty?

so. good news and bad news. good news first...

i replanted the two that i had left. meaning i took the entire cylinder of soil out of the pot, filled the pot a lil more and put the cylinder back in. this is because the two that are left were of the second germinating sprouting round (read thru thread), and when i was filling up their pots there wasnt enough soil to fill them even halfway. about double the room that the roots had to grow in now...

BAD news. so the first transplant went fine. this was the one that STILL hasnt shown sex. grabbed the stem close to the soil, gently pulled the whole mass right out and set it on the table. set up to do the same with my definite female, grabbed the stem and GENTLY began to pull. wouldnt come out as easy. instead of not being retarded, i kept pulling. heard some breakage. now i keep telling myself that it wasnt THAT much, but i cant help but think this is REALLY bad for a plant in flower, very stressful. so some roots definitely got broken. i immediately stopped as soon as i heard some pops, smartened up, and flipped it over to use gravity. worked fine in the end, and i sure as hell didnt break ALL the roots, but if i had to guess a percentage id say about...15 to 30% of the roots were damaged.

how bad is this? it is stressin me out. i mean i guess the clones i take will be fine, right?

time will answer your question. it really depends on how many brok close to the main stalk. watch the plant it should dhow you in a day or so if its going to have any ill effect on the plant, im sure it will stress it but the plant will recover if you give it time, providing you didnt break ALL the roots off.

i think its vitamin B1 that is helpfull when you stress out a plant, look into it it might help you a bit in your situation

it looked ok last night. i guess we will see tonight if theres any noticeable damage. i played with the roots i had pulled from the males and realized i probably didnt hurt it TOO terribly badly. definitely not guna repeat it though. STILL no show on the other plant. i want it to show SO bad so i can clone already!

patience my friend :) even once they show its going to be 2 more moths before you get anything to smoke off the mothers and 3-4 moths (depending on strain and vegg time) before you see anything off the clones.

given where you live (not sure if your in the stix or in a town/city area) have you though about a outdoor grow this summer? last summer i did one and loved it. and with the proper preperation you can easily harvest a couple pounds off 6-8 plants

and it saves on your energy bill!!!
