Hermi Not Producing Seeds

so i had a herm on day 36 - full blown, with many penises all over the beautiful big female flowers. i couldnt kill it, so i put it in a closet in the grow room. (the flowering is in a tent in the same room). It's been there in the dark for like, two weeks (plant abuse, i know), and and in the past few days i've been smoking some of its lower small branches just to sample. so far - good smoke, no seeds. at all. And I cant see any seeds on the plant, after checking thoroughly.

so what gives? is this shedude sterile or what?

this is good for me of course. I plan on harvesting at 60-62days, right now im on 53. so what i'm thinking, is that like, in two days maybe i can put it back in the tent! cuz even if it does fertilize my ladies (which seems to be less likely since itself doesn't have any seeds), they won't have the chance to develop the seeds into something that will be felt.

Am I right about this? pics

dont know about ur hermie, but i do believe that if a plant is pollinated shortly before the end of the flowering cycle, the buds will tighten up resulting in more 'dense' buds.

DONT take my word for it though, im sure someone will correct me if im wrong

yep 100% sure
does anyone have info on how long it takes seeds to develop enough to be felt in the bud (while smoking it)

Not sure on time frame as I am doing my first pollination now. As for your plant in complete darkness not producing them, it won't. you halted the growing with no light. Still needed light for the male parts to develope, then pollinate, and still more grow time for the plant to grow its genetic code (lack of better wording), into the seed. Plants need light, air, and water to grow (obviously), take away any one of the 3, and it stops.

yep that makes sense in a way, though i can think of issues that counter that, like the fact that it has ripened much faster than the ladies in the dark - the plant doesn't die right away in darkness but stores much energy (even after it's picked I think) so you'd expect creating pollen which is much less effort than creating seeds to be something the plant can pull in darkness. but the fact is that there are no seeds so you could be right.

wonder if anyone has experience to answer my question above - how long does it take seeds to develop not to maturity but to being felt/seen.
