That red bulb is an orange party bulb I found at wal-mart. I analysed its spectrum with a spectroscope and found that it emits the entire red spectrum. I decided to put that one in to help out the 2700k's. I was hoping that it would shift the entire light spectrum inside the closet more towards the red. The first time I put it in, I had another bulb in there, a bright white. And the plants refused to start budding, took forever, until I added the Orange bulb. Then it seemed like buds popped out in five days. Unfortunately I have not seen the same results again. I am going to run with this setup once more though, I have yet another white widow clone I am prepping in the vegging box. Going to top it and let it grow some nice sturdy stems before I flower. If it does not respond the same way, there is only one thing that can explain the way my last grow behaved. The Miracle Grow extended release potting soil. As soon as flowering began, my plants began to get yellow leaves, and though buds grew quickly, they smelled and tasted horrible. Don't use extended release Miracle grow potting soil. Nasty.
