If anyone is considering going there do yourself a favor and just don't. they are a registered TGA vendor which is the only reason I went there. I have a member card from a long time ago along with mine and the old ladies paperwork and money order reciepts. Made a special trip out there and come to find out, my paperwork isn't "good enough" for them. I had each and every document they wanted two times over, AND i was a member from going there years ago, but I guess it was just up to the guy at the door and he didn't feel it was good enough. WHAT THE HELL???? Just so fucking irate right now, postponed ordering seeds because of this.

I don't blame them for being to careful, do you really? If I was running it and you didn't have your card and ID, you wouldn't get in either. I wouldn't trust paperwork, too easy to spoof.

The only thing you could have done different is called ahead to check and see if your paperwork would be acceptable.

Once you cool down I think you'll realize that they were just being safe. I'm not saying the guy at the door wasn't a db, but I don't blame the club for having that policy considering dispensaries and such are kind of in our attorney generals cross hairs right now.

Fuck it dude. It's the state's fault, it shouldn't take six months to get a card that is only good for twelve. They are a bunch of fucking clowns. Me and stowandgrow could run that shit out of a garage and keep up better! If the vendor is top notch (and he should be) they won't take the chance. What strains were you looking for? I called a vendor up here and he wants $100 for a 5 pack! I just ordered a 5 pack of Jack the Ripper (from Attitude) and a 5 pack of Apollo 13. The other strains I wanted were out, then I went to the pick n mix and bought their last four Chernobyl and last four Vortex! I couldn't get the Jack the Ripper and Vortex in Root Roit cubes quick enough. lol. Anyway Subcool doesn't just let people become vendors, I suspect that the place you went to might be worth checking back out when you get your card. I mean, do you really think they didn't want your money? Blame the state, they suck.

yep, that's a fight that needs fought right there. the state and their cards..... if you got 100,000 patients at 100$ per person, that would be...........wait for it........10,000,000 bucks so how much is a card printer machine thingy anyway? The state's feet drag like walking dead zombies. understaffed and over worked-WTF where is this money going? Directly to arresting us I suspect. I always envision one poor dick there opening envelopes and making a pile of checks while hitting an adding machine from 64' hand-cranking cards out on a fucking press that Paul Revere would mock for being dated technology.

i had my expired card and paid the 10$ to be a member of their club previously, is it asking too much for access to what i paid for???yes i am cooled down but i still down recommend doing business with them, they sold me wet bud before, some strawberry diesel that looked great in the display jar and they gave me some wet shit out of a bag instead. on the other hand i have a 5 pack of TGA qrazy train my buddy sold me for 50 when he saw how pissed i was.

I've been there and found the people to be friendly, the meds are ok and just that ok! I thought that the meds were always wet even if they came from the jar. I grow my own and no need for their meds anymore. I stay a member for seeds and medibles. but I'm learning how to cook, too!!! haha

from Jackson area here, I've been to sweet leaf and hydroworld for meds and I call it mids not highs but decent price I guess. I'm jsut a 1 gram guy, mainly buying to test genetics for my seed orders but one trip to Ann Arbor will definately devalue any disp in jackson. Ganja Mammas ruined me for life I think! LOL. I was going to go drop in on a growers meeting I heard they have on thursdays and I'm glad you put this out so I can be on my toes. I don't stick my head out the rabit hole very often unless you count posting/reading RIU so any first hand is good first hand info.

Don't be mad at them, they're trying to stay out of jail and they had some concerns with whatever you had. You wouldn't expect a store to sell you liquor or smokes with out a valid photo id? Get mad at your state representative and attorney general. Write them letters about how you're sick and now unable to acquire your medicine due to their failed policies. This is a Michigan problem, not a Jc3 problem.

I felt the same way at first. He was a member and had already paid his membership dues, then had legit paperwork for his renewal. Total Bullshit. Shame on them! (It the story is, as it's told.)

Just not sure where the discrepancy was, since I've never had a problem getting in anywhere. I've had LEO check out my grow before and the paperwork is more than legal and I have my expired hard card.

This doesn't surprise me. I have heard of this type of issue from the bottom of the state up throughout the UP. The reason why these clubs are being overly cautions and even rude is because they get undercover LEO trying to get in all the time so they can raid the place.
In Oakland County, LEO had fake Patient cards made up, got into a dispensary, purchased medicine, then raided it!! If you ask me, the only crime committed here was by LEO, using fake ID and impersonating a legal MJ patient. That is just wrong.
I have never been to the Jackson Club. I know Vic and Roger, great guys, I trust them. I know they used to be part of the club, not sure if they still are though.

I can't blame people for being too careful. I do, however, blame the State of Michigan for taking so long in getting people thier cards! They most certainly could cash my check on Nov. 15th, 2011, yet still waiting for my card.
