Looking good! You may have some monsters, I always try and flip sativa early...most plants double in height during bloom, a sativa can more than double. High ceilings?
For sure every strain has it's own ideas about how much it's going to stretch. I think practice with a strain is the only way to predict stretch....like growing out the same plant more than one time as there are pheno's within strains that may also have different habits. Also factors like what kind of lights, humidity, temp, feeding, indoor/outdoor etc. play a part, lots of variation.I find the "plants can double" thing pretty vague when it comes to Sativa's. I just saw a thread on ICmag with the same strain I'm growing, he flipped them at 14 inches and they finished at just under 7 feet... im not gunna do the math, but double triple quadruple... it just doesnt seem adequate in predicting the stretch. I have the same strain and my plants are 14 inches right now lol... I dont have room for a 7 foot plant. I'm going to arm myself with some bush master
Look at it this way...bigger plant = more yield The first crop I ever did inside about freaked me out...all way to big.....but it worked out in the long run, they are going to grow and they are going to bud.....Okay, it's time to face the horrible truth: my girl is too damn tall - I'm out of height in my tent. I hear talk of super cropping and bush master; obviously I'll research these terms with appropriate Internet skills, but please chime in and start pitching me ideas - I'm tired of failures, and I think I can pull some good stuff off these plants, but damn she's a tall one!
You have nice size pots to support those monsters... I bet you get some nice budsSuper Cropping research complete - thank you all (and MomaPug, for following me on two threads - I hope that's not annoying).
So, I have this tall ass plant and tiny ass space; a while back two main branches (I did top this one), got tangled in my indica (the short n' stubby next to her - I know, I should grow same canopy height, but I just set her res in a stack of empty buckets, like a high-chair ), and the next thing I know, snap and snap, bent and broken in all the jostle. I fucking freaked; had my girl grab me some tape while I held the branches up - shit man, I damn near had a heart attack. Now I'm seeking advice on this crazy tall wench, and come to find out, I should have just let her rest over! I love this hobby - it always presents me with interesting knowledge in surprising ways.
Here are some pics to give you a height and growth look (Secret Jardin Pro DRII 120 4'lx4'wx6.5'h) - these were taken yesterday and today (just into the 4th week of flower - if my math isn't too far off). Tall girl is now at 56" (I'll try and snag a measuring tape shot at lights on, for fun). You'll also note the creased bruise on one of my branches and the clear tape on another - hehe...super cropping "accident." Peace.
