i dont know if this has anything to do with what you guys are talking about but i've been smoking for 30 years and never could roll a joint that didn't fall apart.

i used to be pretty good at rolling joints. havent rolled one for about 3 years though. in a perfect world there would be dispensing machines that you push a button and a perfectly rolled joint would pop out

yea! when I was in high school I worked for a pool company mixing mudd for a crew which was about 3 guys all old schoolers.there where probably 6 crews ,and every morning I had to go with a different crew,not only did I have to know how to roll a joint I had to know how the wanted there mudd.thick ,thin ,fluffy each guy wanting the mudd different.same thing for the joint every morning someone telling me how to roll a joint.but now I can roll with 1 hand and it looks fat and even.and no runs

it's always amazed me when somebody can roll a nice joint with one hand and mix concrete with the other! i guess i'll stick to my pipe!

RAW makes some of the best papers in my opinion. Second favorite is ROOR's ultrathin premium papers, they're really thin but hardly ever ripped on me. For those just starting out to roll, I'd suggest actually using a filter. It sounds a lot more complicated but I think it makes it a lot easier to roll. Also, when you finish rolling it you can tighten up the one side by pushing the weed down and tighten up the other side by pushing the filter in. My joints are usually just about as tight as a cigarette would be. Just my two cents

ill give a pointer on rolling.
GET YOUR ROACH RIGHT, the roach is the foundation to a good spliff, if you have roachless spliffs, put matchstick in the end and roll it with it in there.
lay your mix out in the skin, kinda of like thin'ish near to the roach and getting bigger towards the head.
once you have spread it out, start rolling it in your fingers, one hand always on the roach, roll your fingers around it untill it feels tight and ready to be flipped.
then, with your thumbs, roll down the paper untill you can see your mix and it looks as thought it wil fall out the skin
then flip the edge around the roach and roll up with your thumbs,
you should end up with the gummy bit sticking out in your face, lick it then stick it and your good to go.

Hey, a rolling tutorial. Maybe do a video, eh? Saw a cool vid a few weeks ago on YouTube of a guy making PLASMA with a split grape in a microwave. Yeah, I know that has nothing to do with rolling but it's what popped into my head.
And coordination. Your fingers have to work right. I seem to always tear the papers. Bong is much, much easier for me.

its extremly easy to roll once you get it down....I took over a year break from smoking weed, started up again and rolled a joint with masterful precision
