General Growing

Would it be possible to grow in an old barn during the winter months in New England? It would be a room about the size of a large closet. The room is well protected from the outside but it can still get pretty cold in there. Would I be able to control the temperature of the room enough with a heater? Let me know what anyone thinks.

I dont see why not , you will have enough power lines i pressume ?
It may be an idea to seal the room also , old barn's i should imagine will be rife with little nasties , bugs and bacteria i imagine,
i keep a loft grow at right temps and it's currently -3*c at night and -1*c daytime,
The poor bastids in Moscow had -26 and daytime -19 lol , now that's cold umbre.... good luck

sure its possible with a heater.you may need to put in some insulation. its been a mild winter so far. i would set up the heater and try it out. monitor the temps. if its possible then set it up as a room and do a dry run without plants and see if you can keep it under control.
