COMING UP ON MY 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF CREATION HERE ON RIU AND I WAS PUTTING TOGETHER A POST SHOWING MY FORWARD PROGRESS AND AS I WAS GOING THROUGH MY PICS, I SAW A LOT OF FAILS THAT WERE KIND OF FUNNY LOOKING BACK. i THOUGHT ID POST THEM UP RIGHT BEFORE I MAKE THE OTHER POST. COME ON GUYS I KNOW THERE ARE SOME WAY BETTER FAIL PICS FROM SOME MORE EXPERIENCED PEEPS.

LESSON LEARNED-USE MIGHTY WASH INTERMITTENTLY THROUGHOUT THE CYCLE

BOUGHT 5 DUTCH PASSION "THE ULTIMATE" FOR 120$ AND DECIDED TO PUT THEM FROM SEED STRAIGHT INTO A LARGE POT OF COCO. AND THEY DIED...I WAS CHOKED.

LESSON LEARNED-COCO IS TO STRONG FOR BABIES!

GERMINATED 24 BUBBA KUSH AND THREW THEM IN A DOME, TOTALLY FORGETTING TO PUT ANY AIR IN AND OUT. KILLING 21 OF THEM(3 FUCKERS MADE IT AND ARE LIVING IT UP)

Dude that flap to look in and out of your garden is sick. Without having to enter the garden...you still do but not as much with those small occasions when you go and just 'look'

yup it is funny now that i look back( it was an accidental topping from a fall :( )...but She did survive... the trauma :mrgreen: just left her alone and let her heal ;)

know what else i learned....don;t listen to all peoples advise! do what you want to do....people told me to toss it too:wall:.... well...i didn't listen to them and got to see it for myself and ended up with a beautiful purple kush :weed:....which i cloned and got a few more beauties out of it..so not a total loss :-P got to see her full potential :bigjoint:

-Lack of knowledge- Untied lst right after veg, upon entering flowering

.....(was a cfl grow!) Resulted in the tops (that were tied down in veg) SHOOTING UP!, creating an EXTREMELY tall plant.




ALSO: SECOND part fail: I let it get too tall before entering flowering...OOPS! LOL, she was a foot and a half before she went 12/12 ROFL. View attachment 2036953
LESSON LEARNED: KEEP YOUR LST throughout flowering! ALSO: If you are a cfl grower, make sure to do everything in your power to keep your canopy

lesson learned- pulled that shit out (review earlier lessons about one plant per pot) i dont know how this happened..that plant was veg in that pot for 2-3 weeks before that baby pumped out..late bloomer?

Also, just got this one lady from a pack of 10 mixed. This is the only seed that popped and turned out to be female. Anyone have any idea what strain this is? Its about half way through flower and the crystals are so crazy..

Lol.. Hey lime, do you think this thread could go sticky? Its a great educational tool. With the weekend here i think i could get some great pics and feedback. I 'm sorry too say it but i was hopping to see a good spider mite infestation. Ive only had regular mites and i would love to be prepared haha.

i don't see why not! I'm diggin the thread!

prepared for an infestation of mites??? yikes!!! use neem oil for them as a preventative measure, its not pretty once infested...they get everywhere......fricken webs all over the place!!! ive never had them..thank the ganja gods :)
