Cali Connection Pre 98 Bubba Grow from seed.

So my Pre 98 bubba fem seeds arrived yesterday. Only took one week.. I put them in a shot glass for 24 hrs and 5 sprouted out of 6

I was hoping they all will pop but only got three. Im kinda upset about that

. I babied the fuck out of these beans. Out of the three that didnt pop at all, one popped and the the tap root just dried up, and the other seed seem to rot. I treated all the seeds the same. On the brighter note I got 3 to go so lets start growing. I have them in a tray w/ humidity dome. Under cfl lighting in peat moss grow cubes.I also have a heating pad under the nursery. I mist them daily with light rhizotonic and boost mix. Once they grow two or three sets of true leaves im going to tossed them in Coco and veg under mixed spectrum (blue and red) t5 lighting. What you guys think? Any suggestions?

i'd like to see how these turn out for you as i've grown one of these during my last grow.. was some fire, but she doesn't like to put out that much imo, which is why i won't be growing her again..
other than that, really nice smoke and all, but i hate to put in that much time and effort to not have her put out when it's all said and done..

When did you grow it and how much did you pull off her? What was your medium, nutes, flowering style etc...

yah, cali con's pre98 bubba kush fem from seed... i grew it in soil, under 400 watts of mh, sunpulse bulbs 6k for flower, in ffof soil, full line up of advanced nutes..
i'd say i yielded maybe a lil over an ounce from the one plant, which is just awful for about 6 weeks of veg in 3 gallon containers.. no training or topping, which i think would have helped yield some more personally, but i threw this seed in last just to assure i had one more female in the grow..
i know a few others who have grown it, but didn't get big yields.. wyteberry widow, like myself, had a good smoke out of it, but my other boy cmt1894 didn't even like the smoke after all was said and done, maybe got a bad pheno, idk, but for only planting one bean, i was happy overall with the plant and smoke, just wish she would have yielded a lil better is all, but it isi a kush after all..

nice, i've had a pack of these for ages, but never seen anyone grow any of matt's gear out, other than on his site.

[FONT=Tahoma, Calibri, Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif]Yea I grow a lot of different Kush strains and OG crosses they are my favorite. From what I notice they don't yield a lot at all.. I always bend, top, fim, or super crop to get a decent yield. All strains respond differently but once I find the sweet spot or which technique works I always seem to get a better yield. I feel like u have to grow a strain 3 or 4 times and differently to maximize yield, taste, potency and just overall plant production. [/FONT]

Yea it purpled all over it was beautiful. The buds were lavender purple and the leaves were purple and gold like when I finished them..

ok Here is my Pre98 Bubba 15 weeks into veg.The first pic is12 weeks notice the growth difference? I bumped up the Nitrogen with Grow N today and feed her some organic tea I brewed myself. She looking good i also took 5 clones off her, so i cleaned up the bottom a bit. Also she stretched about 4inches. I think this will be my last time watering her in Veg. Im bout to put her in my flowering room in about a week. What you guys think? I havent topped her yet. Any body got pics of pre 98 topped?

My bubba now is 29 days into flowering shes about 30" tall... Shes in a 4x8x6.5ft tent.. With c02 enrichment and 2x1000 watt hps. Four 1000watt compact CFL for side lighting and some mixed spectrum...

Yup but thats true pre98 bubba.. I was feeding her light in veg then later was told by Swerve that she can take a little bit more Nitrogen. So I hit her with some Grow N and she exploded. I wish I wouldve did that earlier in veg but huh bubba is dank so its worth it....

HAHAHAHA!!! no shit. i mean you finger the fuck outta her all month long, teasing her up and shit. then when you finally get her to take her top off shes wearing a training bra. LMFAO!!!!! i hate them bitches. slutty cunts. im running a Mixed pack right now. had a terrible experience with some TGA gear. stinky as fuck, looked all good. then BAM! i harvest these bitches and they pulled the same shit.
