Help me- Help FDD

A lawyer for something like this is going to be at Least $100k retainer . I doubt that he or even with donations we will come up with that in cash . The best thing we can do for him is help out his wife and kid ... There is really NOTHING we can do for him . The feds make it so its even hard to help him, You cant even send him loot as they will keep moving him and the money will prob never make it to his account .. The feds suck... They make everything hard on the accused . We just have to wait and see what transpires ... If Mrs FDD dont work and depended on him for support then she is in a worse place then he is ... I would think helping HER would make HIM feel at ease and a little better knowing his family is eating and has a roof over their head ,,, I know If I was locked up and my friends were taking care of my family I would feel better ..

Since I have to agree with you on the numbers, this is as good a place as any to throw out my idea. Likely won't generate enough money to do much more than show our support, but here goes.

As a run-up to the Spring Gathering (and because I was up to my arse in snow for a week plus), I am assembling a cannabis cookbook of all the good recipes on this site, a few of my own, some of other members, and friends. It's already nearly 70 recipes, in a standardized format, in sections for basics, snacks, side dishes, main dishes, sweets, etc.

My plan was to just copy and bind a simple little book for gathering attendees. BUT, if there are any members with photoshop or marketing skills, what Ive assembled is a good start on a "published" cookbook. If anybody has any interest in throwing their skills and time into a project like this, PM me and I will send a complete set of the files and provide as much backup as I can.

imo, thanks to the good cooks on this site, this collection is better than any books I've found so far, which are mostly desserts/sweet based foods. It already has twice as many recipes as two already published. In the right hands for marketing (which aren't mine), I think it could generate some money to make life easier for the families of the folks caught up in the net.

Also, as a pet lover, getting concerned about KMK's dog (I had one like it) and the other pets in this mess. If anybody could check on them, that would really be great. Pets often suffer a lot in these situations. Thanks.

ABSOLUTELY! Another member with publishing and marketing experience has also stepped up. None of us have the time nor the skills to do it alone, but the synergy of combined skills have always been more than the sum of their parts. PM me! cheers, mg

And once again....any chance a pet report? :-/ It's been many days, and while I know they're at least giving FDD, KMK and his gf water and some food, can't be sure about the critters and that worries me. Thanks!

These sacks of shit that some call good men serving our government for the safety of everyone, are also notoriously lazy fucks that prefer to do their "job" without getting their own dicks knocked into the dirt. Of course they would prefer to hunt low hanging fruit like FDD all day, rather than take care of a serious hazard like the cartels, because after all, their Number 1 mission statement is, go home at the end of the day without getting hurt. There are no new details to be told. I have not been able to find anything about it on a search, and neither has fdd's wife. I talk with her daily, and she doesn't know any more than this. She was talking with fdd daily, and 5 days ago the calls stopped. She doesn't know what happened to him. She suspects they shipped him to Illinois, but she won't know until he is able to call her again.

I don't believe he's even been arraigned yet, and certainly has not spoken with a lawyer. It's been 17 days.

Sorry about FDD & KMK......sorry to make this about myself but, something does not seem right. I have tried to delete my account and can not figure it out. I have wrote to admin 3x in last few days and no response.

Sorry if I seem paranoid or wutever but, something is fishy here and I want my account deleted ASAP....two dudes from same website/ & bbq picked up, both dudes before bbq worried about being picked up and got picked up......hmmm I'm out.

But yet you keep posting away on Numerous other threads? Must not be too worried.

I don't think they will delete any accounts. All you can do is delete as many posts as possible before they become too old and remove any pics from outside sources (photobucket or flicker) and not post anymore.

Like doublejj said I don't think it has anything to do with our get together but our hobby should always have a certain degree of caution involved with it.
