looking for a couch lock !

me gals are 57 days 12/12 today,, there's just a few golden triches but the vast majority r cloudy say 5% amber !! how much amber for a couch lock affect ? i have only done 2 grows previous and never rearly got any amber triches so its nice to see some here just need to no what % for best results of a couch lock !!

ps, skunk#1 is what rollitup peeps suggested was a easy grow i took ur advice so a big thanx for all those who told me skunk#1 was a easy grower !!cheers peace out yall !

CANNABINOL (CBN)

Cannabinol is the primary degradation product of THC and increases in concentration with plant age. The concentration of this product in the bud is heavily dependent on the time of harvest. Harvesting the bud at a late stage also means that the concentration of CBN in relation to THC will be higher when compared to the peak of THC production.

CBN is only mildly psychoactive and can cause "fuzzy head", drowsiness, disorientation and sleepiness in the smoker, properties that can be considered unpleasant in nature compared to the clear high of the THC.

The relationship between trichome colour and cannabinoid content is shown in Figure 3.22. The data were more evenly spread than those from the corresponding trichome density study. The slope of the regression line shows that there is a weak but significant tendency for darker coloured trichomes to be associated with low-potency cannabis samples.

The comparison between trichome colour and CBN content showed that the lower average potency in darker colour trichomes could be almost entirely due the THC having catabolised in these samples..

excellent find man ! good eye opener for sure, so after reading this 5% amber triches sounds like a perfect time to chop !!!! the source of the information is excellent coming from kings collage london, so any theory that 50% amber is a good culling sample is not so after reading this article it could b diferent with other speceies of cannabis but ime sure the same principle applies to most cannabis plants so i am more of the thinking that 5% amber if any is a good time to cull !!!! thanx for ur response and article !

ps the comment above urs sugest 2 more weeks i am allready at 5% amber 2 more weeks would take this 50% proberly,, its just theres so many diferent views on whats best !!!!! they cant all be right !!! ur post as creedence backed by a proffessor at kings collage, erm,, i think i will take his advice !!!! thats not to say 2 more weeks is not the way to go its just we have to make are decisions on what we read and then make the call !!!!
