Since, this is on the cheap. You can get by with 2 of those 68 watt bulbs.
(assuming they are 6500k for veg.. you will need some 2700k for flowering.)
Veg 18/6 - Flower 12/12
Some of the guys like 24 hrs for Veg.
Really any schedule you pick should be no less than 18 hrs of lighting on for Veg.

My ssd is a small clone but the bubba is about 2 feet tall. I have it going for 18/6 hours and give it just a little of miracle gro all purpose liquid plant food 12-4-6 every other watering. I just want to know if you have experience how much you think i can yeild out of these and the bulbs are soft white warm light 2700k will the veg. Phase keep growing at this?

start bending that bubba and start to tie it down or it gonna get way to big when you flower for cfls

a couple of those 68 actual watts 6500ks will do you fine for veg.

you'll need at least 3-4 2700ks 68w for flowering for anything decent, assuming you tied down well and fimmed or topped a few times.
if you can put more light then do it for flowering

That Bubba is ready for 12/12. 2supra4u is right; you should tie that bubba down or use a screen to train it cuz its going to stretch hard for the first 2 weeks or so of 12/12 Depending on the strain they can double in size during 12/12.

As for the light: Veg really doesn't need a ton of light. I would say 1 of your 68 watt bulbs(6500k) per plant and she will grow just fine. At least 18 hours on, but 24 hour light won't hurt either just give you a little faster growth.

For flower: Flowering light is where are you should put the most of your money if your on a budget. Think of it in simple terms. More Light = More Bud so i would say at least 4 of those 68 watt bulbs(2700K) otherwise its not even be worth it. If you don't have at LEAST 100 watts per plant your wasting your time. I would recommend 150+ watts per plant if you want a decent yield.

As for as estimates on yield: Its really hard to say because there are so many factors: Lighting, stress, stress training(topping), non stress training( ties, Scrog) plant genetis. With all these factors one 2 foot plant can yield anywhere from 1-5 ounces.

What I would say is use this first grow as a base starting point. Figure how much each plant yielded you and then look at ways to increase it next grow through using or improving any of those factors i stated before. You will only get better with time!

Good luck and keep growing!

my first grow.. i started off with like 2 clf's. when i was done.. i had over 20 on it plus a 400w hps. go to home depot.. get 2 extenders and a few dividers.. this way, you can get like 3 or 4 bulbs on one lamp. gl

Green: someone I have come to trust a lot about growing recommended starting with a 20 hours on and 4 off schedule from the beginning and through vegging as opposed to a straight 24 hours on. He suggested that everything needs some rest, even plants. His progressive light schedule gives them a little R&R and dropping the light by one hour each week as you progress to flowering and it's a lot more gentle. He felt it was more like what happens in nature and it's worked well for me. You might want to consider it. HSA

Get a horticultural CFL, theyr more powerful, still cheap to run and designed exactly for the purpose, im sick of seeing bulbs you put in your lamp to grow smoke... do your plants a favour and give them the light they desrve
