Blue Dream in Coco. 12x6, 2x1000 HPS

Lol, so the guy who suggested the bayer advanced said to use something between 5 and 15 ml of it, I used 75 ml per gallon lol. But I haven't seen a bug in 5 days, also the plants don't look like they took a hard hit. The flowers are startin to swell up pretty nice now. The og's lookin pretty good too, but of course it's the first time flowering her so I'll be keepin a close eye. I also started bud candy this week my last run I added it a week later so we'll see if there's a difference in taste starting a week early. I'll start molasses probably around week6

So I've been reading on collectives thread and he talks about using the yellow bottle finisher in week 5 to help stop the buds from slowing down growth wise. I've never ran with yellow bottle but I know overdrive has the same purpose. Idk if it's as good or anything, but anyways the blue dream is a 10 week strain and I think he was using a 8 or 9 week strain. So the bud growth tends to slow down between weeks 6 and 7. So when I notice it I'll add overdrive in combinate with the onelove/Moab. I'm guessing around week 6 I'll shoot em up for like 2 or 3 days with it. Then week 8-9 I'll be using only overdrive. Weeks 3-7 I use Moab/onelove. So far side by side in the beginning stages it doesn't look like there's a major difference in the crop.

Also im curious, how much do other people feed their plants?? I still feel like their heavy and retaining water so that's why I only feed them 3 cups a day.

Lol, damn HR your on top of your stuff I've never used it unfortunately. I'm going to see if I can get my hands on it before week 6. I found out that avid is illegal in the state I'm in, lol so I think I might have to outsource to get it. I've noticed eBay sellers don't really care to sell it in any state so I'll probably eBay it up lol.

The yellow bottle isnt cheap lol but im still waiting on CG to tell me how long to use it after week 5.
If you use it to late you get fox tails and can leed to a longer grow time so it got to be right lol

Ok so I haven't given my girls a tea since the first day of flower. After I make some hash I'll be making a batch of the tea, I feel like I'm underwatering these girls with 3 cups a day. So I'ma add the tea, it'll increase their water/nute uptake. Also repair any roots that got fucked from the root aphids.

So my buddy's last harvest he went by the exact gas lamp technique. He was greatly disappointed by the outcome of his buds. His normal set up of 6 plants yielding around 1 1/2 p's, this run he was short by a full pound. I think it has in part to do with his water reduction techniques, along with the gas lamp technique. IMO the gas lamp technique isn't exactly the best because it say's after week two drop the light cycle by a half hour every two weeks. Now I haven't been doing that because I've never heard of anyone going under 12 hours. Also I've been kinda keeping this hush hush, but a week before I flip them I upped them from 13 hours for veg, to 16 hours right before the flip. I'ma post some side by side pictures of the blue dream on my last run compared to this run. Mind you the hydroponics is the same exact age as the coco. All the clones an mothers are sleeping and they look better with the light on so I'll wait to post pictures of those girls. Anywho, I won't be adjusting my light cycle strictly 12 12. But as far as bud formation and what not this time around I'm seeing larger buds and it was faster then the last run aswell. Also the gas lamp works as far as I'm concerned for vegging. I still think that you'd be safer off jumping up to atleast 16-18 hours a day, a week or 2 before the flip. Also kinda like a re-assurance thing so you don't pull hermies. My buddy never got seeds or anything. It's just better to be safe then sorry. Don't wanna stress out your girls too much before they're going to be packin on the weight. Also I'll be starting the tea tomorrow. I'll probably give it to them everyday until flush. Better roots, better plants.

So I gave the girls 3 cups yesterday with the tea, along with a cup and a half of regular nutrients. Ima skip out on feeding today because theyre pretty waterlogged right now. Also my bud formations and development is almost twice as fast as my last run. I checked on the room and during the night now I'm startin to have to be more careful about the humidity, I've never really had issues with humidity until now, the more plants the more you gotta watch your levels. Also, the perkiness is back in the plants, it's night time for em, and their standing straight up like it's day time. Also their getting very crystally and stinky which I love. Normally for me this doesn't happen till week 6-7. Right now coco seems like the shit to me besides for the bug problem. Need a better way of keeping things sterile.

Ok, so the plants are gettin mighty crystally now, I just took some pictures so let me know what you guys think. Also I'm thinkin about taking some mothers off this chem dawg and then tossing it. I'm almost 100% sure it's the one causing problems now. So probably within the week it's gone. As far as bud formation and development I'm almost 100% sure I'm a week ahead of schedual. But I'ma let it go 10 weeks for sure! This strain cant go wrong with just more time, my last run I actually ended up letting it go over 75 days and it was supreme smoke!. Right now My room kind looks like a 3 1/2 to 4 p harvest(IMO). My buddy's guessing 5 p's, but I think he's kinda just blowin smoke out his ass lol. I was mentioning to him that some of the best growers are only getting 2.5 p's per thousand with co2. Now I'm not running co2 but I was tellin him, that if I can match these guy's max harvest without co2 then just imagine what I can do with it. I'm not gettin my hopes up just yet. Gotta wait till the numbers tally in before anything lol. I've been tryin to get my hands on a gdp starin and the og#18 strain, I'll take pictures if and when I get those lol.

Ok so it's been 2 days since I segregated the chem mother, I was right.. Bugs fuckin pouring out of her. I'm pretty sure it was in the soil that it came with. The chem mother was with the batch of clones an Other mothers so I'll hit them with some pesticide to help kill off any pOssible bugs. I'm alittle upset mainly because this almost cost me my whole garden. It doesn't matter what type of bugs you get, IMO it's better to just scrap n start over.. Mainly because you'll be at it for weeks with different pesticides trying to kill off those bastards. Next time I just need to be more cautious when bringing in another strain. So as far as this mother goes it's scrapped! Not even gonna cut clones to keep her around.

your room is about the size of mine and i used a hot shot pest killer from walmart that worked wonders. Had a bad mite problem a couple runs ago and i saw a post on here about the hot shots. I tried azatrol before trying the hot shot with not very good results too. But anyways hot shot is basically a air freshner looking thing that you just open up and put it in your room. In two days all the little BASTARDS were dead. I left it in there for another two days just to make sure and then re sealed the hot shot in a freezer bag to save it. I haven't seen any of the fuckers again. that was at least two runs ago. Im still in the same room with only minimal clean out after harvests. You should give one a try it worked wonders for me. Much easier than fucking with pestisides and shit and no residue left on your crop.
