hey chiefs thanks for the support on my page man! idk if you've seen it since you posted but i updated with some pics of LST. I had a question though for you, idk if you've ran into this problem with your fruity chronic juice, but maybe your northern lights since it's such a indica dominant. Since my GDP is sooo short, it's getting pretty crowded with all the leaves since i've bent her over and tucking is getting pretty rediculous. When did you have to start trimming during your veg cycle? please any advice would help

I didn't start trimming until the start of week 4, and even when I started to trim I would only trim the fan leaves at the nodes that had at least 1/2- 1" of under growth on it, because to me its sorta like single node topping you will notice a few days after you cut the leaf the undergrowth will explode in growth pretty fast, with the Auxins not having to feed the leaves, and you are going to get some mixed answers from people because "they say" your slowing down your plant, your stressing your plant, the plant stores food in the leaves, etc... blah blah blah, but we are providing them with nutes, and food they need any way on a regular they dont need fan leaves that much when you are the FAN LEAF you know, in the end its your plant, this to me has work time and time again flawlessly, also the recovery is still faster than topping and super cropping, you want even notice a slow down really. I mean check my undergrowth and I'm not even a month in using only CFL's, so the proof is in the pudding especially being that CFL's doesn't have that much penetration power, this is perfect for getting light down in there with them.

I cant wait either man, I have week 5 update coming tomorrow so stay tuned on that, and I need your help Mid in your opion with me being in three gallon pots, would you go to week 6, or longer being the way they look now, because my goal is at least 4oz im realllly hoping for more.

P.S. I checked your grows man and them colas, make me wanna say &$#% HPS bro being Im all CFL, damn good job, what was your wattage, and yields?

Honestly.....I would wait a few days until they perk up (tops begin to bend up again), then I would go to flower right after.....
I say this because you want to keep the tops as low an uniformly level as possible (Because you are a cfl grower, you need to keep your lights close to close to EVERY top and it is a lot easier when they arent ten feet tall! LOL.)
And the taller the plant gets the harder it will be to get lighting to the lower parts of the plant. (unless you supply side lighting)
, keeping that in mind you will want to flower soon...(You have already utilized the space you have in your pot for creating tops through lst)

Because regardless of how low your plant is before you go into flowering, your going to get some stretch, BUT keeping them low before hand WILL kindof pre preemptively fix the problem of tall plants.

thnx man the pic in my avatar was my first grow ever it was all cfl back in 08 i pulled bout 50 grams off her i had bout 4 or 5x23watters and 3 or 4x14watters the one i have going right now is also cfl im in the 4th week of flower since i turned light 12/12 i dono if that actually counts as the 4th but n e way i did some lst on it im defiantly gana follow yours check on mine some time if u get a chance

Well here we are the end of week 5, all is well and with the rate of growth I will not be able to make it to week 8-9, so next week is going to be my last week of veg which during this time I'm not going to LST anymore just using this period for height, temps have been holding steady. I can tell you already within one week of using Cal Mag its worth every penny, even if you think you don't need it, you do. I'm so hype that its almost flower time again. As always comments and question appreciated.

Me either, its soo close, I love flowering time for obvious reasons. Thank you so much for stopping in man enjoy the ride.
Whatsup Blunt, thanks man yeah its a job keeping them girls happy but they will pay me back later on you know, and this will be my first time trying it, my friend says its the best stuff he's ever smoked, so we will see.
P.S. I know this is early but I'm trying to figure out what my next 2 strains to grow will be, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, heres the list of the strains I have.
