Can flowering cfls help plant yield with a 600w light??

I have a soil set up with 8 plants with a 600w light, was wondering if i put a couple flowering cfls under the plants. would it increase the production of buds or yield? Also what kind of cfl would be best for this? Or is it not worth it?

Yes , they are great when growing taller plants ,
for side lighting and getting light to the lower areas , can be positioned or hung real close.
Any light you add from the right spectrum is useful....

The heat isn't an issue with cfls anyways. I have 184 watts of cfl supplementing my 400w hps that only raises the temp like 3 degrees.
