Vintage collectors pipes

A friend gifted these to me 5 or 6 years ago, his father collected them from his travels overseas, most are from the Opium Dens of the 1800's. I don't know what they are all worth, but I showed the case to a local friend that owns a head shop and he offered me $1k on the spot, of course I declined the offer. I never had them appraised, but they are pretty cool to see the handy work.

Some interesting very old school smoking accesories . My favorite is the long all brass one along the top, it just screams Opium Dens from the movies you see the old Asian guy with a long beard smoking with it

Don't know about a new car but I know him well enough to know he doesn't throw money away.

What is the carved lump of jade? I'm tempted to say "bowl without a stem" but the shape seems not right for that. cn

That piece has some hand carved horns and other things on it. It has holes in the sides, the guys said it was used to store/stash opium inside of. Maybe an old school dug-out

Yes that one is the biggest of the bunch, the mouthpiece is wood and the fist is wood wrapped around what looks to be a brass bowl, shaft looks to be bamboo or rattan.

Lock those up tight man. People get greedy. Not saying you know a sketchy person...but someone who tells someone might. That jade piece blew my mind. Those are worth a large sum of money to a lot of different types of collectors. You could go 20 different ways with those. Antique road show would love to have you on. Do that man, way cool.
