Any good dr's to see in the area? I've had 6 back surgery's (i'm only 26) and I don't want to get hooked on pills and nature's medicine does MUCH more for me....Anyone care to give some input on the law and such?

What's up Bat boy.

Can't help with the intel on Colorado Springs, however, I'm sure you'd be able to find what you need there.

I served in B co. back in the day, and while I didn't get hit, I guess all those years on jump status, and falling off of shit wearing armor, finally caught up with me. Farking back seizes up with NO warning for seemingly NO reason whatsogodamever.... Like you, and a lot of other vets, I'll be goddamned if I'm going to take a bunch of percoset/other bullshit, as that crap makes me feel like complete shit.

Hence, opting for the cannabis approach.

Good luck, and send me a PM if you ever want to shoot the shit. (Being a n00B, I don't now how the fucking PM shit works here just yet....)

there is a lot of recent evidence that cannabis also helps PTSD (I also know a fair # of alcoholics that no longer drink, smoke a lot and are much better humans and contributors to life in general). as far as the back pain and spasms, that is fully covered as a medical reason for being prescribed medical marijuana in the state of Colorado. were you aware that the Veterans Assoc in several medical states have gone so far as to OK medical marijuana for our vets? it's a crying shame that the federal goverment continues to demonize this life saving *natural medicine* in favor of big pharma and the bullshit they want to toss down your throat.

i don't know the springs, but lots of good people and shops down that way

Im located in the springs and actually grow medicine that is meant for pain relief. My roomate deals with it nightly and I help her medicate just to get through the nights.
I cant reccomend a doctor since the one I use is located near boulder co. however there is plenty of compassionate doctors in the area or if you have to you can travel to denver area and I know youll be able to find someone there that could help you out.

if you have proof of residency (eg: a utility bill, drivers license, etc) then you can get your redcard

ownership of a an MMJ business has a 2yr residency requirement.
