Today everything is all messed up. It's like, life became a competition at some point - a massive distraction. A series of distractions piled up so high that there is no raw-life anymore. I want to enjoy my life but all I can see if a series of crippling distractions that help keep me, my brothers and sisters, distracted from actually doing anything. Everything is set up so it takes just slightly too long to achieve and falls apart before it does what it was supposed to. Products are designed to fail, the economy was designed to crash, there's a complete separation between the upper and lower class, with the middle-class doing all the labour. Lots of people say that it's been this way since the beginning of time but they're headfucked. There is a war between the old and the young that the young don't know about yet; they'll learn about it when they're old. There's a fake shift in power, fake change, fake advertisements directed at fake lives, fake money being pumped into a fake economy. It seems we live during a day and age where the fabrications of man will crumble along with the facade of wealth. Of course we have always lived during that day and age, the structure is so flimsy, surely it was topple itself. People call it a dog-eat-dog world but the reality of things is that people take better care of dogs then they do eachother. Racism is more alive today then ever before - people have just gotten better at it. We live in a time that is the result of many lackluster attempts at freedom and cover-ups a plenty. The poor have gotten worse at fighting and the rich string pullers have just gotten better at playing dumb. They give people TV, movies, video games, music and then weigh them down with tedious day-to-day things that are implemented structures of "life". They pretend that jobs, school and family are staples in life and without them humans are nothing more then animals when in the reality of the world humans are technically and scientifically nothing more then animals. It's as though we've been trained since we were really young and forced into school that humans are not a pack animal, they are a lone hunter. Longing for attention is a good way to describe humans. The only species that has solely based its evolution on trying to stop itself from evolving. The fight for power and control which is truly captivating. There is no escape really, but something I've learned is that despite the spread of power and control there are some things in life that remain a mystery to the corrupt. There is the mystery of what life is exactly, nobody can touch that, and also - there's weed.
