Dude, very odd.. My Purple haze did the same thing the other night! I opened up the tent to go in there and all four of her colas were laying down!!!! Nothing had snapped or anything and they are fine now that I tied them up but that is a trip to hear yours did the same thing at almost the same time!

lol... small world! yeah the colas definitely beef out nicely on this strain and require tie-up support, and I mean I only vegged Geraldine for like 3 weeks and she is massive! so... I 've been wrapping string around her legs to support the branches bending this way and that for weeks now...

anyways every plant I've evern done has grown huge, so I think that maybe most of it is the explosive growth from the waterfarm, I dunno... but yea you gotta bust out the whip and leathers with that ho and smack her up! lol ;)

Well it has been 72 days of flowering today, and from the looks of things I am hoping to wrap this up by the end of the week, and harvest on the Sunday the 12th... that is unless she needs to go longer, in which case I am shooting for next Friday the 17th... Of course, Geraldine is the one who will be telling me when she is ready, so this is just a rough plan...

I am going to flush her real good tonight with 75ppm water (Brita-filtered tap) And begin to slowly lower the nutrient ppm this week until the weekend when I hope to have her all flushed out, and I will give her a couple days in the dark prior to chopping

Hiya Corxrew! She was about 16-17 inches tall when I switched to 12/12, and pretty much tripled in size to a little over 4 feet tall... I didn't do any LST or anything on her, just wrapped some string around her legs for support.

Thanks TWS! It's just a basic Canon EOS Rebel DSLR (from a couple years ago) with the default lens... nothing too fancy... The lighting inside the tent is craptastic at best, but I will try to get some nicer pictures at harvest if I can =D


So I didn't chop Geraldine this Sunday... The trichomes are damn year 100% milky now, and the buds are looking just amazing... with the larger ones foxtailing out everywhere and all the hairs turning darker shades of yellow/orange/red/brown... There are even some leaves turning purple! The smell is divine, and I can't wait to taste her!

I snapped a few pictures this morning, and I promise I will upload them later tonight... But yeah there are still very few amber trichomes, so I am giving her a little more time. I flushed her out with Brita-filtered tap water only on Sunday morning, and again this morning, and she's not getting any more nutes from me from here on out... She'll probably go into the dark for 48-72 hours beginning sometime in the next couple days, and I'll chop/trim/hang this weekend...

72 hour darkness began this morning, Flowering Day 84, a full 12 weeks!

The waterfarm rez was topped off with pH 6.0 Brita-filtered tap water reading 80 ppm... the runoff I tested was also reading only 70 ppm, thanks to flushing several times this week with pH 6.0 bottled drinking water

So I'm looking to have some final pictures before the chop/chop pictures in an update sometime next Monday Feb 20th (which is Presidents Day in the US... so I will be dedicating this chop to George Washington and Abraham Lincoln... a couple of original gangstas for sure ;) )

Awesome pto, 72hrs starts today? How does the length of darkness relate to the plant's response? Would before and after comparison pics be possible?

Lookin forward to monday.
