i would be affraid it would crack, then i wold loose everything. i really dont make small batches...but i suppose its worth a try once...ill have to upload my pics. i wasn't as hppy with this batch as i usually am, and i was requested to NOT whip it this time. seems people like the oil consistency better. i like the whipped stuff. its not as sticky and its easy to mess with.

master.jpgmaster kush IMAG1361.jpgwilliams wonder. i use 80-100 grams of trim per run trust me it wont crack just put it in fridge for ten minutes the dish will not be frozen just chilled and the oil sshould be hard. if your worried very slowly submerge a corner of the dish or let it sit above the steam for a second. if your using pyrex it wont crack i do it this way every time now

oh you use trim? ok.... i use tops and big huge crystalline buds. hella frosty ones!! i swear you can taste the Tangerine in my oil. i am open to new methods though. i was just hoping more people had input, i think i killed it early on though, lol.

thats from them making it inside and the fridge sparked the fumes left in the house. its just to cool the oil fast,you can let it sit and cool then reheat and whip if you want. but i think its kinda like crack how you drop ice in the hot water and it rocks up but opposite it just breaks the bind from the cold oil really fast and just budders up

i wouldn't freeze it. just my preference. i don't like it to chip up on me. i get thick layers of oil, and just letting it sit over night makes it toughen up. i guess if you are whipping it, its different. but i whip mine too. and i just put it into a quart pan, add hot water, turn the temp to low-med and it softens up just enough to whip. but i have also found with the amount i make, it ships A LOT better when its not heated. and i think its keeps it flavor also. i tent to scrap it onto a blade then have to take a lighter to it to get it drip off, but that darkens it a tad bit. the patients that pick this stuff up, notice no difference. i think i have started spoiling them, lol!! i just made a batch the other day. at first i wasn't too happy with it, but the next day it was nice as fuck! i really think letting it sit overnight helps a little. at least with the consistency it does. i need to end this thread and start getting onto a different topic. since there is still some people following this thread. so here goes...im going to start another thread but ill ask it here too.

Whats your Preference For Smoking Oil, Titanium Skillet .VS. Oil Dome?

im not liking my titanium skillet at all. its not fun i can't see, however, i like it for the fact that i get bigger rips and the smoke is thicker. maybe i have a small tit. nail. but i think the skillet is better for smoking, but the functionality is not better then the dome. imo. please discuss.

I got a nail and dome. If you going to do nail and dome get a titanium nail so you can still get those big rips. I got a quartz nail which works but just doesn't get as hot or stay as hot. Oh, and I swear if the consistency of your concentrate changes over night then you didn't do something right. Could be wrong but oils should stay oils and waxes should stay waxes if made properly.

no man, that is dead wrong. that statement is far from true. and since we are the only 3 in here, please don't make it an issue that i don't agree with you. its just not scientifically true. AND!! i never said it changes the consistency. if i whip oil the same night i make it it doesn't sit right because not enough air as cured it enough. if you let the oil sit overnight THEN whip it i have noticed it stays whipped. sorry man, not to sound like an ass, i have never seen your stuff, never smoked it, and frankly don't see myself doing so anytime soon, so i don't see yours being any better then mine. like i said, the stuff i make literally tastes like oranges on the exhale with absolutely no cough. just a tiny pinch in the back of your throat. but some do have coughing fits. and i have both items. i just wanted to know what people prefer. do you really read my posts fully man? it truly sounds like you just skim and summarize.

they dont know any different because they have never had good wax everyone thinks oil is the shit specialy if they dont make it they dont know any better, and wax would be easier to ship because its easier to handle and wont get stuck to anything

lets see a pic of yours. and the reason it budders up after leaving out over night is cause it cooled down and binded then when you put it over heat and whip it breaks down any left over butane. thats why i put in fridge and then whip over heat its a rapid cooldown so you dont have to wait to whip again

Can you ever respond with out sounded like such a cunt? You really need to work on your responses. Every time I say something to you....all I get back is a cocky attitude that essentially says, no you're wrong my method is the best. I know your hard headed but holy fuck man. You act like your method is PERFECT...and wont even listen for a second. I never said my oil was better, I never said you should smoke my oil, I never said that you have seen my stuff. Jesus fucking christ dude. Because I say one thing...that actually has some truth to it, you like flip out and go on this rampage about how my oils is NOTHING compared to yours. Can you just take a step back for a second? When did I ever say my oil was superior to yours? You really need to try and respond a little more maturely. And I have posted numerous pictures of my oils on here.

I like wax's, and sometimes whip my bho do make it easier to handle. I know what a good wax/butter is and like them for different reasons but in my experience when bho changes consistency after whipping it means it was done improperly. But I reread oHsiN thing and he says he leaves it out over night to change consistencies before he whips it. I just don't see why you would want to do that.

Right but why are you cooling it down if your just going to heat it up again? Does it make it easier to whip air in or something?

In response to your question Curve Vs. Dome.



Havent tried a curve, i love both my domes though. I have a boro nail, a quartz nail, and a HE V3 Titanium nail and all in all the Ti nail wins, It heats up faster, stays hotter longer, will fit any oil piece, and taste's superior to any of the others...



The quartz and boro nails both taste bomb though, just not as good as the Ti nail..

Thanks for the info! Sorry i actually started my method from the point the pool of butane was gone, i def shoot into a pyrex that's already sitting in hot water, makes it purge faster and also prevents the side of your pyrex getting super gunky with oil.


I leave the nugs whole for the first run because i feel the quality is overall slightly better on the first then the second, i generally keep both runs separate on my parchment paper for the 2 grades..

Also, after the main pool of butane is gone rather then just scraping it into the middle of the dish to whip i find it's easier to just smear on the paper and seeing as how the paper is it's final stop before my nail(i dont have any oil dish's) i figure it works.


Your method is actually almost identical to mine, other then the fact that i purge on the paper and whip it slightly less then you do..
