:lol: Hey everyone. While I am himming and hawwing about the cabinet build/setup. I did as you suggested. I have 4 that have popped thru soil so far one is tall. Soon as I fiugre out how to post the pictures I will. On a side note ended up with a 400 watt HPS bulb a timer also. The econo wing has me worried. I am thinking of taking it back, the guy at the store told me I could get a yieldmaster II for $50 more. Anyway the random bag seeds were left in the bathroom. I have a spare unused bathroom. So I have been running the lights in there for 12 hours on and 12 hours off. For some reason I am wanting to experiment with this setting from seed to end. I have gave you some rep because you are the man. Hopefully I will get at least one female I planted 31 random seeds. Still figuring out details on cabinet but will continue using spare bathroom for now.

Glad to hear youre still at it! Wow 31 haha that'll get you some good practice. How's the setup coming along?

After figuring out this apollo timer. lol I have 23 that are out of the soil. I am overwhelmed! I really didn't think that many would pop up. Now I am like a deer in the headlights. I temporarily hung the HPS in the bathroom. I truly am lost. All the damn reading in the world hasn't prepared me or the wife for this. I keep thinking about them while at work. Have the wife checking in on them. How long until I see more than the 4 green leafs on the stalk. I had the HPS running at 250. I switched to 400 yesterday and today everyone is at attention. lol

haha no worries you'll get the hang of it!
you may want to go back to 250 until the plants are a bit bigger, 400 watts of hps is a bit powerful for them when they are so young.
just keep watering and theyll grow faster than you expect

I will put it back to 250 in the morning. They are tall over 3 inches each. I just put in soil Friday

JayJammer is right, best off buying a 250watt-400watt HPS. If your nervous about your electrical bill than just get a 150 watt HPS and 1 T5 2' 6400k bulb(full spectrum) to add some blue to make things move along faster. Cheapest way, but the more money you invest the more you'll get in the long run..keep that in mind. Best of luck!

I already have a 250/400 selectable digital galaxy tek ballast. I also have a 400watt HPS bulb

Don't worry about the stretch let these be your practice seeds and you'll learn tons of valuable info for future grows.

It feels good but now I am worrying about how many to transplant into something bigger. I am going to store today to get something to put them in. Want to keep it cheap. Any suggestions on pots for them?

I will have to order some. I picked up a MK light today and some roots organic soil,mykos, and Tiger Bloom fertilizier. I also got 3 5 gallon plastic pots and 6 2 gallon pots. Just so I can get the favorite of these into something nice with some room. I have going to switch to 18 hours on and 6 off. Since I am going to use the bathroom for the full grow, until I can get the cabinet sorted out. Someone who has the supercloset is going to send me a parts list and the details of where venting is. I have been trying to find a picture of a cabinet I could mimic exactly.
