I took 8 cuttings 8 days ago. I have them in a humidity chamber with florescents. It would appear that some of the growth tips are making leaves. I think that means I can take them out of the humidity chamber. I took the most promising one and set it out...its been an hour and it looks a little tired, though not wilted. Should I put it back in for a few more days, or should I let it stay out under the light, but not in the dome.
I think my clone has rooted, how do I know for sure?

if there is no give it must be rooting mate leave it for a ffew more days u should see ropots growing out bottom or sides

how do I know there are roots when the soil is dark and the jiffy pot is dark...The clones I bought for my grow were in some peat or rockwool. Kind of like a pale fibrous material...you could see the roots all through it. Since I had coco from my grow laying around, I am cloning in coco, not these little pale fibrous rectangles. If I can't see roots, when is it safe to remove the plants to the light. I tested one that I thought had growth and after an hour it started looking a little sad, so I put it back in the dome and it perked up. Is it safe to assume that if it has rooted it won't start looking sad under the florescents outside of the dome?

It sounds like u ave nt accustomed the clones to drier climates to me pal id leave em in the dome till u see roots then gradually open the dome open for longer untill your sure they can take it without any stress to them

Ive never experienced any signs of stress by taking rooted clones out of my propagator and putting them into my flower or veg room. Thats the first ive heard about it too.
