Please take a different highway--away from California. I hope your grow turns out great but you seem to think you can make a lot of money very fast by doing this. It rarely works out that way. I can't imagine growing a large amount of MJ in a closet. Maybe FDD could get a pound from a 8'x2 1/2'x 8'high closet space on one grow, but it still takes 3 mos start to finish and if you're doing SOG then you cut down on your space for flowering. Don't count your buds before they're dry. Take an anger management class and get a couple of part time jobs to go with the one you've got.....And quit your bitchin' and name callin'-----in other words grow up. I don't know about other states, but in Cali all that's required is written 30 notice to vacate. Check your state laws, if you have no written contract but they accept rent then you are usually considered to be on a "month to month" or 30 day lease agreement. That means that both parties are required to give written notice to each when there is either the intention to vacate or they want you gone.It would be a conspiracy, funny you say that. Almost all of ours are gone. It's just my youngest boy left (he'll be 19 next month) and he wants to move out. I don't want him to, I mean I REALLY don't want him to. Yeah, I know, it's kinda sick and doesn't help him when he wants to be independent, but I can't help it. I don't want my nest to be emptied. Besides, once he leaves it'll just be me and my husband and my father-in-law.

Verbal agreements are worth shit, because it's your word vs theirs.
It's usually considered legal to establish you live somewhere by your mail, but they'll want to inspect that mail, where it was from and what not. They usually want it to be something official, like a bill.
And yeah, complaining about 8 hour days is a bit silly...I've been working at LEAST that since I was 16. You telling me a 16 year old girl can handle more than you? And I worked my first job at Six Flags Magic Mountain, dealing with some crazy people. One guy grabbed me by my throat because his PICTURE didn't come out...of course then I opened up a can o whup ass the likes of which he has never seen.
And $400 a month? Before I lived where I do now, I stayed somewhere where it was $480 a WEEK. Meaning in a month it was $1920. I lived there for over a year. Just to put your situation into perspective...
