1st time grow, starting indoor

Alrighty guys, so Im a newb at this, Ive done my general studying and ended up purchasing the following;


  • 5" extractor + carbon fan kit
  • 600 watt sunmaster dual spectrum bulb/ballast
  • 1.2m x 1.2m x 1.85m maylar lined grow tent

I originally planned to grow 10 B/C plants but I think that would be stupid so Im going for 6/8 plants in 20 ltr air pots.

I plan to use dutch pro for veg & bloom.

I also plan to use water, yeast & sugar to give a co2 boost during lighting hours.

Also planning to attach 2 clip fans.

I am a cannabis connoisseur and I have to stick to doing B/C as it is my favorite and most admired strand of cannabis.

I would be keen to know your thoughts and opinions with regards to optimizing the end results with my current plan for my first grow.

2' 2bulb T5 for seeds/cloning or rooted clones

You can do all this under your 600 but you're wasting electricity and your bulb.

not much to comment on but if your goin to continue the grow journal you'll need a better camera we wont be able to see anything with pics like that

Why are you gonna grow BC? Im assumming you mean the British Columbian commercial stuff? Tight hard nugs, lots of orange hairs... decent smoke, ok taste??? Cuz that stuff is not even worth your time if you went and bought a setup.... Get yourself some high quality seeds from Attitude Seedbank, and go from there... Everyone has a fave... Everyone is a connoseur... But B'sters are not worth growing unless you got a big space, and are in it for the $$$... You want some good medical strains to grow?? Id go with Anything from DNA Genetics, or Cali Connection..... Expensive, but FIRE... My favorites are OG Kush, Headand (Sour Deisel X OG Kush), Pineapple Chunk and Tangerine Dream (both from Barneys Farm).

As for your setup.... It is fine for something small.... You arent going to get 10 plants under a 600.... unless they are TINY... YOur better off putting one or 2 BIG ones under it, you will get more yeild, nicer buds, and alot less work....

Awesome, thanks for the replies, I meant Blue Cheese or Blueberry btw, mainly because the flavor and the high of this smoke is just heavenly as for yields im not too fussed if I can get 6 months off 6 plants a few off each im happy :D

I come back from work and the temp is BOOMING around 30 - 40 degrees C :wall:

By BC I meant Blue Cheese, sorry about that and I was going to go for 10 plants but I saw how silly that would have been, Ive opted for 6 using a scrog method.
