To whoever said it was dumb and whatnot, your an ignorant prick... If I hadn't smoked with my father we would still have that awkward nothing in common and nothing to do with eachother feeling... I'm not saying we blaze every ten mins or anything hell now he doesn't smoke for months at a time but now I've had the balls to let him in on my passion and he helped me learn to grow the first few times but straight up its not for every father son but you MUST be open with eachother otherwise you will have this empty gap of unanswered questions because idgaf who you are if you blaze everyone know espacailly your offspring... If you don't smoke with them atleast open up tell them what and why you do what you do and hope they accept it and vise versa and to whoever started the thread your not in the wrong by any means whatsoever atleast you don't push it off and leave him confused or anything like that... Sorry just Pisses me off when peoples ignorance defeats morals reason and logic..

Glad to here that your fathers relationship was cemented with the passing of the pipe.....please no need for name calling as I call it as I see it.
Hell no. I was 18 when my gf made me ask my dad to puff with me. I had been stealing his herbs for like a year.
I was too nervous to ask but I sure was glad my girl did....that first time is one of the fondest memories I have with him. Til' this very day we blaze every chance we get together.
Keep it up, just show him how to do it responsible like!

The family that smokes and grows together is a most harmonious family, and you are doing what many an excellent father before you did, if you are breaking the barrier down between father and son bonding with each other through the use, or cultivation of this most beloved and sacred herb... Just as God Himself commanded Abraham to use about five pounds of Kaneh-Bos'm in the Holy Annointing Oil used for centuries, even milinia, and even annointed Christ, Himself with it, and just as God instructed Aaron to burn the sacred incense in the mornings, and other times(like all the time), and so on and so forth... Yes, you are a good father for doing this, not to mention the probly countless other things you have more than likely done for your son on top of all this... I have bonded with my own father this way, only I was the protagonist in the situation, and kinda turned him around from the whole "weed is dope" kinda mindset he has developed over the years due to various other things that have transpired, but through it all, I have managed to show him the good in this plant, and how amazing it is to grow and be a part of, and have it be a part of you, just as you do with Jesus, and, I believe He thinks it is good, and that it is here for us for a reason-to be used- and I have finally got my own father's interests and curiosities peaking once again, as I know that they once were back in his coming-of-age times, which were the late 60's and early-mid 70's... SO, I have been pretty proud of that for a while now... And may I add, he is retired Air Force, as well as soon-to-be retired from yet another Federal job-don't get nervouos guys-it's a power company.... Not anything scary, like those bastards in the other, more sedistic outskirts of our government...whose names I shant mention... But, I digress, your good man, your good...
