It should exchange quite a bit more air but that doesn't necessarily mean it will be any cooler. LST stands for low stress training. If you bend the shoot apical meristem (the top growth point) towards the ground it halts vertical growth and encourages the plant to bush out - all lower side branching starts to grow faster as the main shoot slows growth. It has a similar effect as topping but doesn't harm the plants which results in more rapid growth as there is no recovery stage.

Want me to post some pictures?

Ok, these are sativa dominant plants that want to grow very very lanky with a single very tall cola - very xmas tree looking. LST can range from simple to complicated and you can use wire, weights, strings, tape, pretty much anything to gently shape the plants. Here I pinned down just the very top of the plant using wooden skewers.

Results in a shorter more even canopy of buds with many colas versus just one. Two of the plants were males and removed so this is just 4 plants:

Let me know if you want these removed once you have seen them.

Mold won't grow in rh that low and temps that high. It's just the opposite. Low temps and high rh. I think you're rh is fine. You need more air exchange. Or an air conditioner.
no i told him to add a few buckets of water to bring his RH up i konw that mold dose not grow at an RH of 31-35

Yup. They were bent for 5 to 7 days and then let go. Just enough time to let the majority of the side shoots grow past the main shoot. You could of course not let them go. Most LST I see the plants remain tied up.

gona try your way with the two sticks. where exactly on the plant do do should the sticks meet holding it down and how far over ?? til it nearly touches compost ??

As far as you can bend it without damage and as close to the tip as possible while still having enough plant to pin down without damage.

i have topped 1 plant today, im LST 2 and leaving the other free but i got a new problem guys lol .......... just been looking at em today and they look gorgeous but on a leaf of 1 plant it has a hole in it ?? looks like some sort of burn but yet there is no colour change anywhere, its all just a lush green ?? any ideas guys. there are 2 leaves with these holes,1 hole is nearly quarter the size of the little leaf its on help plse ...... im thinking maybe the watrer and rhizotonic which i spray on leaves might be magnifying the heat and burning patches?? wat yous think??
