Heres an old mom keeper I made 10 years ago, just 4' $7.50 fixtures with "cool white" bulbs. 1 light mounted on the wall then slide the other piece up. My knockoff on the phototron. Yes I bought a phototron when I was 19!

Yeah thats the same one I was looking at too. Im thinking of going back to the old school method with a veg cycle and all! I'd use the blackstar to veg, Im fully confident in its ability to do that. But Im just wanting more POWA for my tent now

haha, yeah i feel ya bro...im actually about to buy another one of those lights and setup my second 4' x 2' x 5' tent...fingers crossed

The reason Im thinking to go back to a veg cycle is to run like 8 plants in 3 gal containers. Why? Cuz Im fucking lazy, I am not enjoying watering all these little plants I have going right now.

If I do it the way Im planning it will go like this: Start beans the same way I always do, under 12/12 too. Once I have enough females sexed Ill dump the rest then pot up the girls. At this time they'll get topped and put on an 18/6 cycle for about 2 weeks, maybe 3, then flip back to 12/12. Its just what Im kicking around at the moment. I dont really need to do the perpetual thing anymore, I got bud for days and needing closer harvests isnt an issue anymore.

im guna do perpetual, but on a larger scale...i got myself and two other patients to provide for now...our plant limit maxes at 45 between the 3...its guna take me a little while to reach that 45 limit, but 'til then i'll be working towards having 8 plants in 2.5-3gal pots started every month...but i get clones which i have to veg for a bit anyways...i figure this will give us at least a 1/2P per month...and whatever we dont smoke we can 'donate' back to our collective...

I have three plants I veg 10 days, because I did not understand old Del had veg box with cfls, before he put them in hps light. The difference in size compared to the 12/12 from seed one is quite noticeable. I can grow 51/2ft tall plants. It must be nice to have enough smoke. I add clones to make it fun. I do think some veg. allow bigger plants and since I have a limit. Something to think about...rw

Im bored, my grow is boring. I need to find something to compare, or experiment on. I dont even like opening the tent the last couple days. The one thing I am envisioning is a way to grow my plants without ever touching them. Like a drip system with scales or an automated system with cameras where I could just open up some software and click which plants get watered and it just does it Laziness is the father of invention IMO. Im pretty sure Ill have a 600 watt setup in a few days here, going to wait and get the right one off craigs for like half price.

I found a 600 cool tube setup and 6" inline fan, the guy said he'd take $200. I think Im going to be on that today!

hahahah... Sounds like this will get interesting with a 600w, that is a kick ass deal. This is what my plan is for the summer if all goes well. How do you get your buds so dense? Mine just don't seem to be there and I'm close to harvest, I don't know if its because I'm just running the 240w or what.

You know I'm seeing that the buds aren't as tight with the led compared to the 150 either. Although its not a fair comparison since I seeded this group as well and plants growing seed are certain to grow differently too.

Thats disappointing, I think I'll run the blackstar by itself again and see what I can do with it after I have a grow with it under my belt and proper nutrients. I will have to change something for summer though, more fans. So are you going to pick up that cool tube? Is it digital or magnetic?

BAM! Done deal. Thank you craigslist. Switchable with both bulbs included too! The fan is a 440 cfm. I had planned to veg with the blackstar and I still may for cost savings, but who knows!
