Hey I've been on here for awhile lookin at different techniques on growing and I think Im ready to go about growing for the first time. I dont know much about all the different terms you all use and what nutrients to look for in soil and water. What I do know is I want to use cfl lights and try out 12/12 lighting from seed due to simplicity. If anyone could give me ANY tips or advice it would be appreciated tho. Thanks

LST and cfl's get along pretty nicely, LST is often used to tie the plant around the edge of the pot, grows in a spiral pattern
very good for low space/small setup situations

Does anyone use biobizz and know how much to use 4 small plants-1-2ml,working up to 2ml,what about bloom and topmax, couldnt download schedule,any1 used it? I intend 2 use a giant dual spectrum bulb, ideal 4 1 plant,i could add 2 it later.Cfl's are cheaper, less heat worries and no probs with the guys above with cameras, but i wouldnt use in the roof.If u can help, message me pleze, thanx.

I agree that LST is an amazing method of training...cfls I don't like. I'd rather use flouros and HIDs. Just grab a small HPS such as a 250 or 400 and you will have nice yields compared to cfls. Also, as cues mentioned, when you think you know everything you need to know, read some more. Don't overlook the video option as it is a great way to learn real quick. Youtube Jorge Cervantes.
