Post those results when you get them... my quest for employment has begun even though my old job will still be good though the summer. How do you know if they are going to be watching? A friend of mine (non toker) just took one for his CDL... which I am not even considering personally ... and they watched. Is it a gov't vs. private industry thing or just luck of the draw?

Seriously?! The only time I know of that they could legally watch is if its a law enforcement thing, like for probation or something. If a employer wanted me to pee in a cup and demanded to watch I would tell them to get fucked.

BTW, subbing for results because I heard it don't work no mo'... I'm hoping that was false though... they make new versions all the time... hopefully they just needed to start the next run and all's been gravy ever since...

Ok, went, took the test, and turned the piss at the CORRECT temperature, as directed very clearly in the directions. I used the heat pouch as directed, everything went perfect. Just waiting to see if i passed, the girl said walmart would have the results in a few minutes. Im tempted to call and ask the lab if i passed? Or is that suspecious. Anyways, will keep updated.

@ growone: The bladder patrol is already omnipotent. I've seen jobs that pay 8/hr 10-20 hrs a week wanting a criminal background check and U/A.

thing is, as we can see walmart letting the test be done unobserved, they know these tests are beaten a lot
they know a large percentage of their workers burn a few after work, but drug testing has become some kind of religion in the usa

Does anyone think that insurance companies are possibly part of the problem here? I currently work in an auto body paint shop. Its a little different with us in a small town, but I am led to believe that If i were to apply at another shop I would be tested just because I may have to drive a car owned by someone else. Of course, once the car is at the shop, it is under the shops insurance. I'm wondering all other types of business insurance are subject to similar scrutiny due to liability issues and our incredibly sue happy culture... and yeah, how about those results?

if i owned my own business i'd drug test, full background checks.. the works.
why hire the guys that have a misdemeanor or worse a felony? why not check for drug use? i'd do the real drug tests, ones that can check for synthetic piss. if you're not responsible enough to stop smoking weed for a while so you can piss clean for a job, then why would i even want you working for me? all your synthetic piss will tell me is "i'm irresponsible and choose to take the easy way out"
as for insurance and liability issues, most places will make you take a same day drug test if you're injured at work.
for obvious reasons.
