I read the books a while back. Which almost kind of killed the show because I knew everything that was going to happen. Regardless, great books, and a great show.

Definitely the best show out right now........I still cant believe they chopped the main stark guys head off.Him,the midget tyrion and jon snow are my favorite characters so far.This show got it all and the actors are actually good.No channel is fucking with HBO when it comes to these tv series lol.

I remember when reading the books thinking if anyone were to adapt them it would have to be HBO, as anyone else would tone down all the sex and violence and the show wouldn't be given a proper budget, probably have a terrible has-been cast and crew. And what do you know, look what happened. Must've read my mind. Not that I've seen everything they have to offer but HBO has yet to disappoint me. Except for maybe at the end of the series when they just glossed over the huge battle. I suppose I can go without though, probably would've cost a fuckload.

That shit was crazy I thought they were gonna stop it at the last second.
So who seen the new episode?There's a bunch of new characters now.It's hard to follow each character.....you definitely gotta rewatch each episode a couple times to fully understand it.

I love this show. I love HBO except for when they cancel a serialized drama mid way through. I still want to know what happens in Deadwood and Carnivale and the fact they killed off Luck is unfortunate as well.

amazing series, i havent read the books, but love the show. Im confused about the dragon, i was sure there was more than one at the end of S1. Im gonna go back and watch it later. But im really impressed with the show.
This is the quality production they should have done with The Sword of Truth series, not the campy production we got with The Seeker. Books frikn awesome.
Other great series - "the Borgias", pillars of the earth, kings (not sure about the title on this one), The tudors (still on S2 on netflix), camelot (kinda iffy at first, but gets better), im sure im forgetting a couple others.
