Please help asap

I need to know is it better to water early or let them go dryer.I am going to be gone tomorrow and i usually water at 6 tomorrow night but I will not be there.Should i water about 16 hours early or 24 hours late,please help!!!!!!!!!!

a better question is, why do you have to water every day? that seems problematic.

the only time i have to water everyday is when my plants are absolutely rootbound and the temps are toasty hot.

I do not water everyday,I water every third day and tomorrow is that 3rd

ah, i see.

i would water early then. better to keep them from wilting, i would say.

just to complicate things though, i sometimes let my plants dry to a crisp if i want their roots to expand or if they are having trouble rooting.

i will leave with this advice: water deep, not often.

If you can't be there for the scheduled watering and it will not hurt to water them today...

Agreed. Overwatering is a chronic problem, not a one time occurrence that can't be fixed.

could make a drip or what ever they are called but thats just unnecessary.

better to water when soil is dry...watering early will only cause over-watering problems. its ok to let soil dry out between waterings...plants should vary when it comes to watering sometimes they want more sooner and sometimes they take there time...its not a set schedule, when they need it give it to them...if soil is still moist then wait.peace
