i believe dmt has always been naturally occuring, its probably one of the oldest chemicals.
No its probably not one of the oldest chemicals, proteins, amino acids and various ribonucleic acids are the oldest chemicals in life on earth.
DMT came later in human evolution to correspond to something in our habitat, to evolve.
Because all we know is simply life on earth there essentially is no "oldest", afterall we are just specs on a spec in a spec inside a spec filled with millions of other specs.
We could be part of a timeline that has the constant TT for totals time and earths whole existences only consists on 1/1thousand-trillionth of TT.
and essentially yes all drugs are poison but some to a different degree. shrooms wont effect you too much...
What you type makes me wonder if you have ever eaten shrooms before..
but you still may get that exhausted after effect, correct me if im wrong but it sometimes feels like shrooms draws serotonin from my brain much like mdma would, but on a MUCH smaller scale that isnt nearly as noticeable. im not saying i know this, im saying this is how i have felt in the past. not with dmt but for sure with shrooms.
Its doesn't draw serotonin, in fact, psilocybin blocks serotonin from being receptive to your synapses.

ive done shrooms plenty of times, and plenty of people have told me they have this exhausted feeling after as well. and thanks for the correction, can anyone explain why shrooms give you this feeling or are more people going to tell me they've never felt like that. and i didnt say its the oldest chemical but it occurs in plenty of organisms other than humans does it not?

Around the web people claim that everything contains DMT.
This is not true, but most organisms contain the molecules to bio-synthesize it, including trytophan, tryptamine, etc.
It does as you say occur in plenty of organisms.
Plenty is quite a bit, but not as much as "web lore" makes it out to be.

Sorry for the off topic post canndo.
