My First Grow - CFL grow!

Alright guys, this is my first grow I'm using a box I made and 3 CFL's currently ( going to buy more for flowering), 2 x 30 watt and 1 x 11 watt. These both have higher
brightness watts (not quite sure what that means, the 2 go to 117 watt and the smaller goes to 51 watt brightness.

When I started I didn't really intent to grow, it just happened, so I haven't had the same conditions all the way through. the seeds are also just bag seeds so not expecting anything amazing. Germinated seeds went into pot on 23/02/2012.

Using a mulitpurpose compost with nutrition vita boost slow release plant food ( the little coloured balls) and black strap molasses. Feeding 1 serving of molasses and 1 serving of nutrients per week, the rest of the time I just use water and carbonated water to mist the plants.

This is also my first time on a forum, I have read the rules but apologies if I go wrong somewhere :)

Please feel free to comment any help, advise etc is more than welcome :)

Here are some recent pictures of the 2 plants, I will try to keep organised and update the thread often!

This is today, 23 days in I think they're looking good, just misted them so they may seem slightly droopy.
Also I found some yellow spots on on leaf as you can see in the pic, its only the one though and it hasn't seemed to have spread I'd image I was over-watering at some stage. I've also been twisting/crimping seen in the 3rd pic, seems to be working, hopefully!

it looks as if you are one of the smarter new growers. You read up on RIU first! I used those white kitchen trash bags as reflective too! They are an awsome addition to any ghetto grow! Good Luck!

that looks like a calcium def to me. buy some cal mag and you should be good
thanks for the diagnostic, I will definitely get some cal mag, is there any household substitute i could use over the weekend as i won't be able to buy any for a few days?

i would suggest that you re-pot and bury up to the first set of leaves. it will give you a bit more vertical room to work with and the plants love it. and don't be afraid to get a little more aggressive with the lst'ing. look up some of the instructional threads and find one that mentions pinching the stem and bending. or look up supercropping as an alternative. :peace:

Thanks for the help, I have already re-pot so I don't think i can do it again just yet, the box actually moves up around the pots where they sit on the floor so there is some room left. How much more do you think I can tie them, I have also been pinching (crimping) the stems on the back two plants, I think this is why there are not shooting up so much.

Here's a picture of the 'crimped' area IMAG0100.jpg

Does anyone know roughly how much longer I will be flowering for, I know to look for trichomes milkyness to a few amber heads and the colour of the pistols and all that just looking for a rough guesstimate she is currently in 3rd week of flowering and has had 7 1/2 weeks vegging. It's just a bag seed so not sure what it is yet, kind of just wanted to know whether it would be around another 4 weeks or 8 sort of thing, all guesses and estimates welcome :) the plants have been split up, mine has 2 30w CFL's with equivalent brightness of 117w, a small 11w with equivalent brightness of 51w and a GreenLamp 45w Red Spectrum 2700k with an equivalent brightness of 225w here are some recent photos...
