First CFL grow - AK48

Alright so this is my first grow guys. I've done a lot of research and put together a rather nice growing environment. I have around 13,000 lumens total. 2 12v pc exhaust fans, and a passive intake. My cabinet stays in the basement ans keeps temps from 68-73 F. I made a little DIY co2 generator out of a standard .5 Liter water bottle. my concentration is 2.5 liters of water / 60 ml of can sugar and 3/8 TSP of active yeast. I currently have the seeds germanating in rockwool cubes on a propagator tray with a heating mat underneath providing some warmth. But to upgrade, I have on order a legit germanation station with the heatmat and temp control unit on its way from hydro-farm. Once the seeds pop and the seed leaves are apparent I will pop the humidity dome on and let them flourish. here are some pics so far. let me know what you guys think and any comments or suggestions would be great. O and by the way, the seedlings you see are actually tomatoes. the glimpse of the other rockwool cubes in the back left are the AK48.

yea man..i intended to improve on the lighting...I do want to remove that left section entirley and just get another 125W CFL and have one on the right and one on the left, both horizontal pointing towards each other with capabilities of being lowered and lifted.

Either raise your grow or lower your lights, you will need them close to avoid stretchin the crap out of them.
How big is your cab?> How many girls you plan on having in there?
Fix the Light leak, Going to hermie your babies. Whats the Humidity(More once there out of the dome)?
Whats the next medium you plant on using and nutes? Lookin very good, nice little stealth cab. Like the big ass cfl.
Looks like someone did some research.

I plan to create a hanging hood for the lights so I can lower them today.

My cabinet is about 28"x12"x32" and I plan on veging 3 girls.

I will work on fixing that light leak, thankyou you for the advice.

The humidity stays between 40 and 60 percent..with humidity dome on, its usually around 75-80 depending if i have the vents open or closed.

I do plan to use coco for the transplant. not sure yet and taking reccommendations.

Just got in my hydro-farm propagator tray with heat mat and temp control unit...I have it set at 78 deg F and its doing wonderful. I also have a new dome for the time being. 2" instead of the 7" for a better humidity build up. I only have my 125W CFL running now for 3 plants. I removed the other hanging powerstrip with the smaller CFL's. The 3 plants are getting about 8,000 lumens total, but I know as they get bigger they will be needing way more during the middle-end of the vegatative stage. I'll prob end up sliding the 125w to the left a bit more and adding another 125w on the right so that they are facing each other. Other than that the plants are looking great! I plan to post more pics in a few days when there are visible changes in the plants growth.

Im not expecting any yield at all with my 2 125w 6500K VEG BULBS...I'll be asking the sun what shes going to have my plants yield. catch the drift? lol..im just veging inside...flowering outdoors in a 707 mix.

Here's the update of my setup. Yes I know, those are MOSTLY tomato plants but look whats well blended in lol. Can you pick out the 2 cannabis plants from the crop? haha... I took a pic of one of the AK48 plants at the end of week 1 from sprout. O btw, the tomatoes are not staying in there for long...they will be going in the garden outside in about 17-24 days.

he said theres only 2 the rest are tomatoes. did u read or just start typing? sweet setup man. i also have a DIY veg cab its skinnier and taller though and has 2 floors. its like 1.5 sq ft by 5ft tall. its working out well. i also have a 125w CFL on the top self and a strip similar to yours on the bottom shelf i have to hoes on each floor. :hump: good look im gunna watchh this one :joint::weed:

Tonight I finally separated my 2 AK48 plants from my tomatoes. So no more tomato talk. My 2 plants are under the 125W CFL(around 8,000 lumens) about 2 inches away. I will post a picture in the morning to see how much they have grown. I did notice that the new nodes are begining form :weed:.
